You can Canoe on the springfed lake and catch bass. Or bring your boat and motor about on this great ski lake. If you want the beach, It is a short drive to Clearwater, St. Pete, Tarpon Springs or Honeymoon Island. The large theme parks such Busch Gardens, LegoLand, Universal and Disney are only a drive away. Rhonda and Simon made me feel so welcome. The cottage is gorgeous and they have thought of every detail. The lake view and peacefulness of the backyard were a highlight for me along with all of the wildlife.

Perfect stay!! Lovely cottage style guest house. Our visit exceeded our expectations. All details on the property were on point. AMAZING open space view of nature and beautiful lake. Location was ideal in a nice neighborhood area. Truly a 5 star rating. Rhonda and Simon our hosts were very welcoming and responded promptly to any inquiries, which was much appreciated. Thanksgiving New Years at Half Moon Lake in Tampa

Quiet soothing cottage setting

All was as describes and more. Super clean and well stocked with everything you needed including condiments ,all kitchen utensils and kayak for exploring the waters.I spent 8 lovely days in relaxation. Stores are close by. A perfect little getaway. 10/10 I totally recommend it

This is the real Florida

A beautiful wooded property on Half Moon Lake, this was Central Florida serenity. It was also close to many attractions - Busch Gardens, Clearwater Beach and just 15 minutes to the airport. This small guest house was perfect for us. My wife and I loved it.

Great quiet staycation

The cottage was just what we needed. We wanted to embrace nature yet be near the fun. The beds were comfy. The house was clean. Felt safe in the area and the lake by the cottage was pretty. Wish we had stayed longer but hoping to go back soon.

Charming House Beautify Decorated With Lake View!

House is clean and beautifully renovated. The coastal decor was perfect and the yard had beautiful view of the lake. We were able to sit by the water and watch a woodpecker work in the tree.

Perfect Modern Getaway VRBO

The pictures don’t do it justice - it is a beautiful property and we had the perfect stay. The check in process and directions were clear and easy. Everything inside was spotless, modern, and comfortable. A short drive from downtown and other activities in the area like Tarpon Springs or amusement parks. The check out process was refreshingly simple - just hang the key back up! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend the property!

Awesomely quiet.

Great place to stay if the peacocks don't bother you. I thought they were cool. Watch out for the frog in the back door in the mornings. He's harmless. Very clean and quiet. Owners don't bother you. Would definitely stay again.

Beautiful cottage in a great location

My husband and I spent 2 nights with our 2 dogs in this wonderful little cottage. We loved every aspect ... from the ocean-themed decor to the cozy space and super-comfy bed, we loved every minute of our stay. Having Netflix and Wi-Fi, also a plus! Oh, and the daily peacock visits made each day extra special. Easy access to the Veterans PKWY makes this cottage the perfect home base from which to explore all Tampa has to offer. The owner, Rhonda, is very responsive and answered all of our questions quickly. We are so looking forward to staying here again.

Little Piece/Peace of Heaven

Was looking for a place to get away with my husband as well as a place to stay for my nephew’s graduation- found this peaceful gem. Rhonda and Simon are wonderful, warm hosts who do not hesitate to help where they can. The property is near immaculate and is well stocked with the essentials (toilet paper, paper towels, etc.). My husband and I enjoyed time out on the beautiful lake in the kayak provided. To put it simply, we enjoyed our stay.
