Discover a world away from everything when you step inside the spacious main level. Wood walls and floors create a warm and inviting atmosphere that will leave you instantly at each. The focal point of the great room is a gas fireplace that reaches to the top of the cathedral ceiling. It is flanked by large windows that let in lots of natural light. Sink into the massive sectional sofa to watch TV or to warm up by the glow of the fire on a crisp mountain night.

You'll appreciate the convenience of being able to make home-cooked meals in the fully equipped kitchen that has a large center island with seating. Spend quality time with family around the dining table as you share good food and great conversation.

The main level has two beautifully decorated suites that are furnished with queen beds and TVs. After a fun-filled day on the lake, you can rest up so that you are ready for more Deep Creek adventures. There is a bedroom with two bunk beds (full over full) on this level as well.

Adding to your gathering space, the main level family room is outfitted with a pool table with a ping-pong table topper, a TV, and a wet bar with a mini-fridge. It is the perfect spot to watch the big game.

Upstairs, there are two more suites. One has a king bed and the other has a queen bed. Each is decorated with a good night's sleep in mind.

Outside, towering trees and boulders fill the backyard where you will find the bubbling hot tub that will melt your stress away. There is also a fire pit that's perfect for toasting marshmallows and gazing at the stars.

Conveniently located, you are within minutes from restaurants, mini golf, marinas, shops, ziplines and more.

Wisp Resort is nearby offering four seasons of fun! Experience skiing, golf, snow tubing, the mountain coaster, disc golf, escape games and much more. On top of the mountain, the Adventure Sports Center is home to white water rafting thrills on their man-made river.

If you are looking for a slower pace, you can take a guided family float on the Savage River Reservoir with All Earth Eco Tours. This flat-water kayak tour is a great photo opportunity and you are sure to see lots of wildlife.

Fine house if you book last minute

The house was fine. Main areas for hanging out were large, but not as clean as I would have liked, particularly the fabrics of the carpet and chair looked and felt gross. Hot tub was also not clean enough where I would submerge. The floors are literally just planks of wood so you can hear every sound and footsteps downstairs. This is managed by Taylor Made which has office hours, so if you have any problems after 6pm you are screwed. We had a dead smoke detector in a locked room we were not allowed entry into, which starting beeping at 9pm and don't stop until I was able to make a phone call at 9am. That being said, maintenance did come out a few hours later so at least they were responsive in that manner. Good party house, but you won't get a restful, relaxing time if that's what you want.

Needs some attention

We had a number of issues right from the beginning. The gas grill did not work, the air conditioning did not work, light was out above the kitchen sink, powder room toilet clogged, pocket door to bathroom extremely hard to open and close, garbage hadn’t been emptied from previous renter and a bear had gotten in to it. Also the water has a very weird taste and smell. I wore socks inside and they got filthy. I called the management company several times and someone came out a couple times and said they’d be back to fix things and never came back. This house could be nice but they need to fix some problems and take better care of it to justify what they charge. The management company did refund a small portion of our money at the end but we felt it should have been more. The living room is nice with a comfortable couch and we really enjoyed the ping pong table and hot tub.

Great Getaway

We had a wonderful time at Horizon Shine! The location was perfect - a quick drive to Wisp, several state parks that we wanted to visit, and restaurants. The home was spacious and very comfortable. My young children (7 and 3) didn't want to leave! In the home, we easily found everything we needed to make family dinners, enjoy a few adult beverages, and keep everyone entertained when we spent a few days relaxing inside. We also really enjoyed the privacy this home offered. It is located on a quiet road and most windows offer views of the surrounding trees - which is what we hoped for on this vacation. This is definitely a place we will return again!

Awesome stay in Deep Creek!!

The home is clean and there is plenty of space We loves the ping pong table/ hot tub and fire pit. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you would need. The second refrigerator was much appreciated. The only negative was the master shower.l as it was very small. Otherwise. Love love.

Mchenry Property

This property was cozy and fun getaway. Very secluded and quiet area. The home was spacious and cozy and accommodated us all well. Plenty of pots and pans for us to cook with and very clean for the most part. Good experience.
