Huge vaulted ceilings, bright and sunny with skylights, this apartment feels much larger than it's square footage (roughly 900 sf). It was built in 2005 and has been fully renovated this year. All beds covered with allergy covers. No pets allowed. Amazing location to access all the great Charlotte destinations in SouthPark, Myers Park, Uptown and more.
The entire top floor of the building (which is 3 stories, the lower two levels are for owner use only). It is hard to envision how the space is on the top floor with limited stairs - but imagine a sloping lot, so your entrance starts at the front of the property, relatively level, and the terrain slopes down so that when you arrive to the door of the garage, you are elevated one story. At the back of the apartment, you are two stories elevated.
My family home is on the same property (in a separate building, with separate entrances) if you need anything or want any recommendations. We travel on occasion but try to have a back up available in case of emergency.
SouthPark - home to Charlotte's nicest mall (Nordstroms, Macy's, Belk, Apple, Microsoft, etc) and many amazing restaurants. This is a quiet residential area, adjacent to one of Charlotte's largest parks. There is very little traffic or commotion, perfect for those who would a quiet, safe restful location.
Charlotte is pretty car-dependent - there is some public transportation nearby and you can walk to many places from our house (SouthPark mall, Panera, Whole Foods). "Walking distance" to me is within 10-20 minute walk (under 1 mile).
