Whether as a starting point for visiting the cultural city of Salzburg, for hiking in a unique mountain scenery, swim at Lake Fuschl or skiing to 40 km best prepared slopes in the ski resort Gaissau Hintersee, our charming hillside house facing south above the village of Hof bei Salzburg offers a wide variety of recreational opportunities in every season. The 60 square meter terrace in the summer or the food at the large fireplace in winter also invite larger groups or families traveling to cozy gathering. The large enchanted garden with small pond also offers children a variety of opportunities for discovery.

The Perfect Family House

Just like 5 years we had a fantastic stay in Haus Smilla, 4 generations had a beautifull stay we did breakfast outside under the terrace the grandchildren en great-grandchildren had a great time playing in the garden thanks a lot

We had a group of 9 adults and 3 children. This was a good place for large groups. The host was very responsive and addressed questions promptly. Walking to town was a short distance, but does have hills. This was not a problem for us. The bus stop is at the bottom of the hill. The house has adequate parking for 2 cars. The one recommendation we would have is that a hair dryer would be supplied. Definitely not a deal breaker.

Gemütliches Haus in toller Lage

Wir haben hier ein verlängertes Wochenende mit 3 Generationen einer Familie verbracht und hatten eine sehr gute Zeit! Die Lage ist top (verkehrsgünstig und dennoch äußert ruhig im Grünen mit direkter Anbindung an einen Wanderweg), das Haus ist sehr gemütlich, die Kommunikation hat sehr gut funktioniert.

Sehr schöner Kurzurlaub

Wir haben das Haus als zwei Familien als Standort für Ausflüge nach Salzburg gemietet und haben uns rund herum wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist geräumig mit mehreren liebevoll eingerichteten Ecken die zum Lesen und aus dem Fenster schauen einladen. Die Kinder konnten in Garten und Haus toll spielen und dank der herrlichen Holzofen-Wärme konnten uns auch Dauerregen und Schnee im April die Laune nicht verderben. Gut ausgestattete Küche, es hat uns an nichts gefehlt.
