We are in a wooded area on the border between Minnesota and Wisconsin. Guests are welcome to enjoy hiking on over three miles of private trails in our woods. Additional hiking trails are located in St. Croix State Park and Governor Knowles Stat Forest, which follows the east side of the St. Croix River.
The St. Croix and Namekagen Rivers offer canoeing and tubing through Pardun Canoe Rental. The Gandy Dancer Trail in Danbury is great for hiking and biking in summer and snowmobiling in winter. There are also trails for four-wheelers and snowmobiles nearby; guests can ride their machine from the cabin to the trail 1/2 mile north.
Guests enjoy relaxing, perhaps with a fire in fireplace while enjoying watching birds at the feeders and the view of the St. Croix River Valley.

About John & Sandra O'Reilly
We, John & Sandra, moved the Cabin to its present site in 2003 when we built a B & B, which is now called the Lodge, across the field. The cabin was completely remodeled at that time and has been continuously improved since. The Lodge and Cabin are our retirement projects which we have found to be really enjoyable.
Why John & Sandra O'Reilly chose Hinckley
Unique about the Cabin is that it is located on our woodland with miles of private trails and a great view of the St. Croix River Valley. The trails are for hiking in summer and snowshoeing in winter (we have complimentary snowshoes).
What makes this cabin unique
There are over three miles of groomed trails that wind through our woods and past the Beaver Pond. You can hike on our trails or, if you prefer, from May through October, tour with a golf cart which is complimentary. In winter we have snowshoes.
