Located on a cliff in an upscale neighborhood on the East End of St. Croix, Villa Paradiso is your own private mini resort and boasts one of the most jaw dropping ocean views on the island. Listen to the rolling surf as you view sunsets and sunrises while from private balconies facing East and West. Completed in 2011, this fabulous home has spectacular, million dollar vistas that will delight even the most discerning traveler. The villa offers three separate suites with their own terraces allowing couples to enjoy maximum privacy. There are breathtaking ocean views from each of the bedrooms and private patios. The home is within a short hiking distance of Jack's and Isaac's Bays (pictured) .These are pristine, secluded and mostly deserted Nature Conservancy park beaches. The maintained path to these beaches is directly below the house and this is the only rental property on St. Croix with direct access to the trail path as our property borders the national park. Occasionally you will meet other people on the beaches but most of the time you will have this paradise to yourselves. These beaches are perfect for snorkeling and playing in the waves. The home is tastefully decorated with interesting antiques, four poster beds and bright Caribbean colors, and is a perfect retreat for one to three couples (the pricing shown is for two people-additional charge for larger groups). The great room/kitchen opens to the spacious terrace with open air dining and seating. The knife edge saline pool blends with the ocean and the underwater benches are the perfect spot for sipping cocktails and watching the spectacular sunset . The ambience of the home is casual Caribbean elegance and it is maintained to the highest standards by our team. Our wonderful reviews show our attention to detail in every aspect of your stay, from the moment your arrive to when you depart Villa Paradiso. You will never want to leave.

Incidentally, this house, because of its location on this island (according to WHO study https://cnb.cx/37RiGib) has the cleanest air...in the world!

We are sorry but the property is not suitable for young children. Children must be 10 years or older. We are firm on this. There are some large drop offs from the patio and pool which could be very hazardous to toddlers or inquisitive children.

The villa has solar power with battery backup in case of power failures. ROKU, DVD movies and a Wii station are available.

This is a wonderful place to stay.

The architecture and the gardens were beautiful. The house and gardens are maintained in excellent condition. The place was the best stocked place we have ever rented.Two of the best restaurants on the island are on the East end not far from this house. You will love this place.

Superior Location

2nd Visit better than the first

We made such impactful memories in our first trip to St. Croix last year, we came back to the familiar setting. Everything was just as we expected, a lovely place. It is nice to have access to the beach that is for all intent and purposes, our “private” beach. The views from the property are amazing, listening to the ocean in the morning, watching the sunrise, all amazing. The property owner is amazing and VERY accommodating, and the property manager, Jenn, is friendly and a valuable resource for island information. We come to St. Croix to enjoy the quiet and less typical tourist locations, and this place is the ideal place to stay, giving access to all you need. Anytime we find ourselves in St. Croix, even once we become empty nesters, we will be here, it is THAT worth it.

A wonderful home- not a rental!!!

Perfect, perfect, perfect!! We stayed for 2 weeks and barely left the property. It was a true home; all the conveniences so we could cook and relax in wonderful/ comfortable surroundings. Colette was fabulous to deal with and Bobbie/Bob were so welcoming and there to help in a flash if needed. We loved the fabulous view and privacy. We will definitely be returning next year. Our Honeymoon in Paradiso!

We chose Villa Paradiso for our elopement and Honeymoon and couldn't be more satisfied with our choice! Everything was fantastic and better than advertised. Colette was very engaged with us while we were planning our getaway and helped us with many details and recommendations needed to plan the ceremony. The property managers Liz and Bill were also so great. They met us at the airport and guided us to the courthouse, waited while we got our marriage license and then lead us up to the Villa. This place will forever be in our hearts and hopefully we'll make it back to celebrate our anniversary! William & Beth March 2019

A beautiful sanctuary!!

I have always been a big fan of avoiding resorts when vacationing and finding nice quiet hideaways to enjoy evenings away from the noise and crowds. Villa Paradiso was just perfect and we spent 2 days just enjoying the house, patio, pool and relaxing. We used the pool everyday and enjoyed sunrise and sunsets from the patio. We hiked to Jack's and Isaac's bay from the house twice and had the beaches entirely to ourselves. The house had everything we needed and was beautifully decorated. The smaller Buck Island tour operators recommended to us were not running over Thanksgiving week so we booked with Big Beards out of Christiansted and had a great time! Restaurants near the house are Duggan's and Blue Water Terrace - both very good options with good food and seem to be popular with locals. The Cruzan Rum tour is highly recommended. There are obvious signs that the island is still in hurricane recovery mode and only one major resort, the Buccaneer, is open to tourists but it is still a beautiful and fun place to visit and I can't imagine a better place than Villa Paradiso to stay while visiting.

Fabulous house, surrounding property and location on St. Croix!

This was our first trip to St. Croix, after several trips to St. John, and did not know what to expect of the island. We decided on the East End, in Grapetree, as a location that seemed to mimic a bit what we had previously stayed at, and the location did not disappoint. Once we had decided on location, next step was picking a house, and from the moment we saw the property listed online, with the amazing views of the bay, we knew this was the place for us. The house sits at the end of a dead end road, which is perfect because the only traffic around it belongs to your house. Most nights the loudest sounds you heard were from crickets. The area is very quiet. We were met by Bill at the Seaplane port, and the idea of following him back to the house, using a two-way radio was brilliant, and something no other property managers had done with us before. This allowed us to explore and learn about the location on the way rather than just following another vehicle in silence. Once at the property, the house was everything it was described to be. The house and property were super clean, the rooms immaculate. Bill went over all of the property, the house features, what to/not to do with anything, and left us feeling comfortable. The pool was crystal clear, plenty warm, but not too warm to be enjoyed in direct sun during the day. The location of the property is near several fabulous places to eat/drink, but if you don't spend at least several nights down at Ziggy's having dinner/drinks, you are missing out. We day-tripped to many of the beaches on the island, but always felt relieved to just come back to the house, kick back, and enjoy the view and pool. You could easily just spend your entire vacation here and Ziggy's. Overall, working with the home owners (who were very responsive), the property managers Bill & Liz (whom we saw out and about in town and local establishments), was fast, easy, and made our trip perfect. Can't wait to come back soon!

Amazing Vacation!

My family, myself, husband and four adult children, enjoyed a wonderful week at Villa Paradiso. From the moment you walk through the doors and see the beautiful pool and ocean and blue sky you know you have found paradise. The pictures do not do the scenery justice! The home is very clean and well maintained. The gardens were beautiful and lush even though the rest of the island was having a bit of a dry spell. It was wonderful the way the three bedrooms are their own separate areas so if you have an early riser others can sleep in! The pool is great and got the sun by 9:30 AM - so nice it was hard to leave and enjoy the island. A bonus to the outdoor space is that there is a nice amount of the patio that is covered so there was more than adequate room to relax if you needed to be out of the sun for a bit. We did the hike to the top of Goat Hill - it is a tough hike but worth the views and makes the pool that much more refreshing! The hike to Jack and Issac Bay are easier and well worth the walk - especially Issac where there is some terrific snorkeling and a lovely beach and clear water to swim. We also did the Buck Island tour with Captain Carl and it was great. The sailing to the island was wonderful and the snorkeling and beach were the best - thanks Colette for this amazing suggestion. We did do the Cruzan Rum tour - very nice and you can’t beat the delicious rum drinks the bartender served up. Rainbow Beach was a great beach to go to after the rum tour. There is a beach bar/restaurant and a nice clean sandy beach with a parking lot. We also had a great time on the bioluminescence kayak tour. We did the see-thru kayaks and had a great experience and lots of fun. Also snorkeling off of the pier in Frederiksted - saw turtles, string rays, fish and plenty of colorful coral. Duggan’s Reef and Blue Water Terrace are highly recommended for the food and close location to the house and if you are in Christiansted and need a refreshment stop at Rum Runner for their Lime in ‘de Coconut drink. Very delicious and refreshing! Thanks Colette and Tim for sharing your beautiful home and for all of your helpful suggestions. Our family highly recommends Villa Paradiso!

Most exquisite place I’ve ever stayed

This place had absolutely everything. The wraparound view was breathtaking. The rooms were comfortable and well furnished. The kitchen was loaded with tools for cooking, including lots of spices. It was completely private. The property manager was available and prompt with answers to questions. It was the stay of a lifetime. Owners Drew and Kathy were so nice during the booking process. Five stars unless there are more available.

WORST VRBO EVER STAYED IN (NOT CLEAN. NOT SAFE. BAD LOCATION. NEED MAINTENANCE)

Good: View Bad: We asked for a refund which the owner is trying to be deceptive in completing the process even though they have agreed in writing to give the full refund. Worst location on the island. Deceptive in actual location of property until one day before when a Google Pin was sent to me. Location was no where near the actual location. The house was absolutely not cleaned. Floors dirty with crumbs of food everywhere which caused those pesky ants to come inside and was everywhere including all over the kitchen countertops. Really bad if you want to do anything on the countertops. Lock broke on the 3rd bedroom door which could not be accessed and the locksmith stated could not be fixed while we were there (outside room). I slipped and fell on the steps leading to the 3rd bedroom which were slippery from the rain the night before. The water was turned off while we were there with 15 minute notification. The owners were completely non-responsive to us and VRBO the 1st day. And non-responsive to process refund. Agreed to a refund but playing games to process. Total home can be accessed by climbing over a low wall. Not clean. Ants everywhere. Not safe. Check the pillows…soiled. Trash under beds and furniture. We stayed a few hours and found another place to stay. I Have pictures.

AWESOME PLACE

First off, the beds were comfortable, which is super important to me. It has plenty of room. I love the way that the bedrooms each other a little entry for a lot of privacy. You almost looks too good to believe but it is true and awesome.

Fantastic location for quiet beaches

My wife and I plus my sister and brother-in-law stayed for 7 days. The location is right next to the Nature Conservancy reserve on the east end, with direct access to the hiking trails and Issac’s and Jack’s bay beaches. Very quiet location and a bit remote. Wonderful views, but the patio area could get quite hot in the afternoon as the house faces south. House is really set up for2 to 3 adult couples. Communication with the host was great. The condition of the house itself was like every other VRBO I’ve stayed at in the USVI, nice, clean, but a bit worn in places. Several of the lights did not work and one of the awnings outside did not work. The kitchen was well equipped, but they need a bread knife and some more wine glasses. Be careful entering the pool as the first step is quite slippery! Before buying any liquor I would recommend checking out the cabinets under the kitchen Island. On the last day we discovered there was quite a selection there, and we added our own purchases to it 😁. There were also quite a lot of supplies in the kitchen and fridge. Overall we had a great time.

Magnificent !! don’t pass this one up!!

This has been one of the most beautiful places we stayed in. We’ve traveled all over the Caribbean, but this is one of our favorites. The view is magnificent. The house is pristine the island and the people are kind and very helpful and fun don’t miss the amazing cheeseburgers at Shup’s, and the Monday night party at Ziggys

Private Oasis

We were looking for a private getaway for our 20th anniversary and this home perfectly fit the bill. The description and all the reviews were spot on. There was nothing we needed that wasn't there - and the property manager was immediately responsive when needed (nice touch on the welcome gift). The pool and views were the highlight. The hike down to Jack's beach wasn't bad but do read all the reviews on that - for us, the beach wasn't worth the hike but that's subjective. (too much kelp, bad smell and water too murky/choppy to even want to venture in - but a strong thunderstorm had just blown through, so....) Overall, a wonderful home, spectacular views and great experience!

You won't be disappointed!

The home, the area, the hostess were all top notch. Exactly as it appears online - but better! Our top things to know: 1. We ventured down the path to Jack Bay and Horseshoe Bay is right there as well - lovely and JUST US! Was like our own personal beach. (we were there the last week of July) 2. Seaside Market is the best grocery store. However, the smaller ones are well stocked but lack variety in meat/produce 3 The Bioluminescent Tour with clear kayaks was a must-do! 4. If you want to enjoy local fun go to Castaways - but be ready for a long wait for your food. It is worth it! We went on Bingo night and Trivia night - was fun. 5. Plan a 'down-day' to just hang at the house/pool - vacations that are go-go-go are tough. We took the last 2 days to relax and everyone went home not exhausted from vacation. 6. If you venture into the rainforest on Mahogany Road be ready for a beautiful but bumpy ride (we had a Jeep). 7. Don't fret about being on the opposite side of the island from the airport - easy drive and the island isn't very big - so getting anywhere from this location is easy. But when you arrive at 'home' there is no noise, traffic, or tourists! Great silence! 8. Well stocked kitchen with plenty of pots/pans/etc. and spices - as well as some condiments in the fridge. Just be sure to get the fridge doors closed :) 9. Keep in mind if you have little ones that the bedrooms are NOT in the same building - you access them via the courtyard/pool area.

We Don't Want To Tell You...

We don't want to tell you how gorgeous and selfie-inducing the panoramic ocean views are from the common patio and each bedroom terrace. We don't want you to know that we wished we had done less during our week on the island and had spent more time just floating in the delicious pool. We hope you don't find out that some of the best meals we had on St. Croix were at the patio table with just family, a Caribbean breeze and local music playing on the stereo. We're not going to talk about the Virgin Island's "curveballs" or how extraordinarily responsive and helpful the property manager, Jenn, and the owners were when they happened. We don't want you to know any of these things because we want to keep this place all to ourselves! We'll be back to Villa Paradiso!! We DO want to warn you to bring the proper sneakers and plenty of fluids if attempting the hike to secluded Isaac's Bay in the heat of the summer.
