The property was very nice and close to everything we needed! The property manager was very attentive to our needs and handled the one issue we had expeditiously!
Our group was traveling for a 50th birthday trip. The house is great. Clean, comfortable and great location. The large backyard provides a great hangout space. Would definitely stay here again.
When we first arrived, there were WiFi issues. The host quickly responded to our concern and ensured our stay was very comfortable. I have already recommended the property to one of my family members
We really enjoyed our time at this property. Loved everything about it! The back yard is awesome! House was clean and had everything we needed. Only wish we could have stayed longer
This is a great getaway in Raleigh. We were four adults and had plenty of space in the house. It is walkable to downtown, although it does require crossing one major intersection. The house is clean and well appointed, and the host made the check-in process very easy. I definitely would stay here again.
We had a great time. The backyard was amazing and something my kids really enjoyed. Conveniently located to NC state, downtown and so much more. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could imagine that you may need. We will be back!
We had a great time during our stay, the only thing is that the neighboring houses are so close, being from the country we are not used to this and thought it seemed like the listing was more secluded. Overall the house was beautiful and prefect for what we needed.

Great backyard
The owner was very helpful and accommodating. Place is a nice layout and was clean. Needs some attention to detail- some furniture was worn or broken and kitchen items were hit or miss or quite dirty in the drawers. Place was good but could be great with a bit of effort.
My friends and I really enjoyed staying in this house. We were only there for one night but we had a great time. The house was very clean and homey and that backyard is just as awesome as it looks!

Thank you so much for the kind words. Yall were great. Thanks!
Garner Road has come a long way! The house felt safe and had everything me and my friends needed. The backyard was definitely the main attraction. Very close to DT as well. Not very walking friendly place but a lot better area then it was 10-20 years ago. Host was great!
Proximity to Downtown was great. Host was very responsive and accommodating. Back yard amazing. Property was not clean upon arrival: Half eaten candy on the night stand, dirty floors, roaches in the kitchen. Multiple members of our group came home covered in itchy bug bites.
This is a charming older home with a ton of character. A ton of space for family. Beautifully decorated. Nice attention to detail. The house was nice and cool. Even before we arrived the owner placed a new air conditioning unit upstairs just to ensure the house was nice and cool….it was so comfortable. The backyard is what makes this place. Awesome deck with a grill. Fun lights that come on automatically and illuminate the backyard and a ton of fun yard games. We had so much fun entertaining family at the house. We would definitely stay here again.
We were in town for our son's wedding and Andrew was great at communicating, answering all my questions quickly. The house has great space and layout, I just wish we'd been around more to enjoy the backyard!.
Andrew was great with communication before and during my stay. The house was great. Clean and with everything I needed. I loved being able to relax in the backyard after a long day and enjoyed the putting green and giant jenga game. Will definitely stay here again when I am in town. Thanks Andrew!
The property was very clean and the outdoor atmosphere was amazing for a gathering of friends. Had a great time

About the host

Hello Everyone! My name is Andrew, and I am the property manager of this house. I have run short term rentals for the last few years and really have enjoyed the hospitality side and making sure everyone is comfortable and has a good time. I have partial ownership of this house, and the other owners have had to move from Raleigh, due to a job opportunity in Texas.
I live in downtown Raleigh, North Carolina so minutes away from this property. I moved to the area in 2012 after leaving the Navy.
I am a fitness enthusiast and also a fitness coach on the side. During my time off from not working, I am an adrenaline lover from skydiving, scuba diving, and wakeboarding.
On my time off in Raleigh, I enjoy running, going to bars and restaurants, meeting with friends, hosting cookouts, or having a game night.
Why they chose this property
This property is in South Park area of Raleigh where it is a very exciting and up and coming area. Right now as new modern homes get built, retail projects are getting proposed, soccer stadium right down the road propsed and land is getting bought up quickly in the area due to the city expanding and growing more south.
What makes this property unique
1 mile away from downtown which offers many bars and restaraunts, running paths close by, and many propsed retail coming to this area .
