Retreat to the cool pines with a stay at 2nd Street Retreat! Cozy cabin located close to downtown Ruidoso and Grindstone Lake. Relax in the hot tub year round; enjoy the back deck viewing the stars nightly! Be sure to keep an eye out for the wildlife as they frequent regularly. Make sure to enjoy the wood burning fireplace and large smart TV each day! Wake up refreshed and ready to enjoy all the wonderful happenings in Ruidoso.

The Deer Drop Inn is located on the same street as 2nd Street Retreat.

Enjoyed our stay!!

Everything about our stay was great the cabin was nice and clean also had the hot tub warm and ready we only got to stay in it for about 10 min because the wind was real bad but other then that it was awesome!!!

Quiet, Peaceful, Nostalgic

Upon arrival all good. Older, rustic home but charming. Beds comfy, tv program's good selection, very clean and pet friendly. We had issues with hot tub lock. Wecwere given ac4 digit code but, it was a 3 digit lock. Lock was seized up we can only guess from weather. So, we couldn't use it. Also, ac unit digital control was on lock. We couldn't use it either. We used window unit and opened windows. 1st night perfect cool weather. 2nd night weather hotter no breeze..ugh
