Pet Friendly Home with Private Tiki Bar - 3-minute drive to the beach!

Very clean 4 bedroom and 3 full bath Beach House with plenty of entertainment spaces. 3 minute drive to the beach!

New Trex Deck and stairs.

Linens and Bath Towels are provided.

Great location near Milepost 6.5, close to restaurants and grocery stores and the Avalon Pier. Walk or bike to the sound to enjoy the incredible sunsets (our personal favorite!)

The house is also setup with toilet paper and paper towels to get you through your first night or couple of days. For longer stays it may be necessary to purchase some during your stay.

Spaces include: 4 large bedrooms, your very own Tiki Bar and big screen TV in the garage for the perfect hangout when you get back from the beach, two living rooms (one upstairs and one downstairs), and a back yard for yard games. Don't forget the outdoor shower, so you can shower off after a day at the beach!

There are 4 bikes also available for use in the garage. (2 adult bikes and 2 kids bikes).

Upon checkout we ask that you please strip bed sheets and towels at the end of your stay and place them into trash bags and leave at the laundry room. This is so our cleaners can wash and sanitize without contact.

Check-out instructions

The host requires you to complete the following before checking out:
Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please remove bedsheets and towels and place in trashbags near the laundry room. Please leave mattress protectors and comforters on the beds (the cleaner washes in roatations.)
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Please keep pets off furniture and bedding. Please cleanup after your pet in the yard.
Please clean up after yourself, including dishes and utensils. The cleaning company will charge extra fees if they need to do dishes etc.
Trash gets picked up twice a week from April to October on Tuesdays and Fridays. From November through March - pickups are once a week on Tuesdays.

Best Stay on the Outer Banks

Amazing house! From the moment we first opened the front door we were impressed with how clean the house smelled and looked. The outdoor shower is possibly the nicest outdoor shower on the Outer Banks. There was plenty of space for our group and the house had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The location is excellent as the Sound, Ocean, stores and restaurants are very close by. This will be our first choice for a place to stay when we return next year.

Perfect Getaway

We had a wonderful stay at this beach house! The location was perfect—just a quick drive to the beach, which made it easy to come and go throughout the day. The house itself was very clean and well-kept, with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The owners were incredibly friendly and responsive, always quick to answer any questions we had. The friendly family atmosphere made us feel right at home. Highly recommend this spot for a comfortable, laid-back beach vacation!

This is our second stay at this beach house and it was once again a wonderful experience. Everything was clean, neat and today. Very conveniently located to the beach and grocery stores and restaurants. Austin is awesome at making sure there are no issues and always quickly replies to any messaging. I would stay here again and highly recommend this vacation beach house!

Awesome Easter weekend with family!

From start to finish, this property was for perfect for my family & pets….Austin is very responsive …the property is decorated and stocked very well….having separate living downstairs and carpeted steps was a bonus for my pups with bad legs ….would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a convenient location! The house is close to the beach, close to the Sound, close to shopping. Everything we could’ve wanted for our vacation rental. Plenty of space for the entire family. Lots of room to spread out. The host was very very responsive, and the house was loaded with amenities. Highly recommended.

Great property for our group of family and friends. And love that dogs are welcome. Had a couple minor issues but Austin responded and addressed them immediately. Probably will come again for a third time!

Clean, Spaciuos, and Centrally Located

We booked a last minute trip and Tiki & Tides was one of the only dog friendly properties. The house is bigger than it appears in the pictures and could easily accommodate two families. It was clean and smelled great. We really didn’t use the kitchen because there are so many restaurants close by, but the kitchen is well stocked with plates, cups, and utensils. We would definitely stay here again.

Great Place to Stay

This property is set up with all the essentials needed for an awesome stay in the Outer Banks. All the cooking utensils, even for the grill, bikes, horseshoes, hand soaps and toiletry provided . We did bring our own as well but if you are in OBX to do what most do, which is go to the beach and all the other attractions you won’t even need additional items because you won’t be there much. The cottage was very clean, homey feeling, and comfortable…per all my guests the beds were sooo comfortable. We had one of the greatest vacations there.

Cute and cozy

We had a most wonderful stay at this adorable beach house! It was perfect for me and my parents and friend. Super close to the grocery store and Target. My favorite part was the walking/biking path next to the sound to walk my dog. We walked there daily and it was beautiful! Although it’s not super close to the beach, it wasn’t a bad walk to get there! There were many place along the sound to see beautiful sunsets. Austin was an amazing host! Very communicative and made sure everything was going smoothly. Had a small issue with a bike and he had it fixed within a few hours! Would definitely stay there again. Thank you, Austin for the hospitality and letting us stay at your cute and cozy beach house!

Home away from home

We loved our stay! The online pictures do not do this property justice. Very spacious rooms with pretty decor that gives it a "home away from home" feeling. House has everything you could possibly need and is centrally located to the beach, the sound, stores, and restaurants. Most of the time we used the bicycles, which are provided, to get where we wanted to go. The neighborhood is quiet with only moderate traffic and friendly neighbors. What stood out was the overall immaculate cleanliness of the house and the little touches to make our furry family welcome as well. We celebrated a birthday while staying and the garage with tiki bar, TV, chairs, and grill where perfect! Communication with the owner was very easy and timely and the check in/out process as a breeze. We would highly recommend this property to family and friends and hope to stay here again! Thank you!

SPARKLING CLEAN & COMFY HOME

This property exceeded our expectations for a clean pet friendly beach house. We are a family of 4 parents and young adult kids. The house was exceptionally clean and smelled freshly sanitized. The bathrooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable. There are some understandable pet stains on the carpet. But the stains were clearly well cleaned and our dogs did not seem bothered by them at all. Plenty of room for us to park our doorless Jeep and store the doors in the garage. There were plenty of bikes for us to bike to the bay for sunset. Easy access to the back yard for our pups. The host was readily available for our questions with instant response. Checkin and out were easy! This house is very well appointed, centrally located on the island and served us well. We would absolutely recommend.

Perfectly pet friendly!

Very pet friendly! When planning this family trip, I probably inquired about 50 homes that claimed to be pet friendly. And they were…if you have no more than 2 dogs. But we were planning this trip with all of our kids- and each of the 4 households has a dog. Austin was outstanding to work with, very promptly responded to my inquiry and extremely professional. We did pay a slightly higher pet deposit for the extra dogs, but it was very reasonable. The house was super clean, very spacious. The neighborhood was quiet, the sound accesses were beautiful. This house is close to the beach, close to grocery stores, shops, fishing piers- anything you could possible want is near. The house is very family oriented. The bedrooms are very spacious. The garage offers a perfect indoor/outdoor gathering space with the Tiki bar and the TV. The deck offers plenty of seating space and is a perfect spot to start and end your day! This house is clean and very well maintained. We will stay here again.

Great stay!

We spent some great family time at this house last week, it was just perfect for that! It was located near many restaurants and was just a five-ten minute walk to the beach. The front porch was a nice gathering place and we all enjoyed our morning coffee out there each day. Austin was a fabulous host, made check in and check out extremely easy and always answered my texts very quickly. The house was very clean and comfortable; I would highly recommend this house for a nice place to get away, chill and relax!

Family of four that loves the Outer Banks! We have been vacationing in the OBX since we were infants and owning a beach house has been a long-term dream for us. We are excited to share our home with you and your family and hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

Why they chose this property

Very Spacious property with 4 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. We understand that personal space and privacy is important. This house is not your typical 3-bedroom 2 bathroom cottage where everyone is constantly bumping into someone.

The house is perfect for two families to share and has two separate living rooms. One for the kids downstairs and one for the adults upstairs. Also, don't forget the Tiki Bar and Flat screen TV in the garage for the perfect hangout space!

What makes this property unique

Very Family friendly neighborhood that is great for walking, biking and running. The Bay Drive Multi-use path is located along the sound and offers a safe place for families to go on walks, runs and bike rides. Also close by there are sounds access points available for guests, such as the Hayman Street Pier and Gazebo, Wright Shores Sound access for beautiful sunsets and the public Boat Ramp at Dock St.
