Answer to Prayer is an airy ocean front home that is just the ticket for enjoying Topsail Island up close and in style.

The house accommodates up to 8 guests with 4 bedrooms and 2 baths. Answer to Prayer is located at 122 Topsail Rd North Topsail Beach over the North High Rise Bridge to the island and 3 1/2 miles south. It is a short drive (4 miles) to downtown Surf City (and the new high rise bridge) for shopping and dining. A dog friendly, smoke free refuge for you, your family and friends is waiting.

You'll love the mornings. We like to get up early with a steaming cup of coffee and sit out on the deck. It's so quiet, but the beach is waking up. The waves crash on the shore, sea gulls gawk at one another.

A flock of pelicans come 'floating' on the winds as they cruise the tops of the waves looking for breakfast. The morning sun warms us up.

My husband decides he wants to go for a ride on his bike. He heads south on the bike shoulder lane waving at the friendly islanders driving in the early morning. After a good run to the southern part of the island, he gets off at the point to smell the jasmine and salt air.

As he heads back, he stops at "Seas the Day," a beach house owned by a friend of ours in Surf City. We have friends staying there who have come to Topsail Island the same week as us. After he greets them and visits for a while, he invites them to the barbecue we are planning that night.

While he is riding on his bike, I decide I will take a quick dip and swim a little. The water is chilly at first, but then the Caribbean kissed waters seem to warm up. After a workout, I climb back on the beach and then to take a shower. I decide that I will lay in the sun later. But first I want to do a little shopping at this absolutely darling clothes shop in Surf City.

I could go on and on about how much you'll enjoy Answer to Prayer, but I invite you to come and make your own vacation.

We found Answer to Prayer to be that, a comfortable family size beach house. Great access to the beach, good viewing, the dolphins didn't disappoint. The beds were comfortable, good kitchen, dining, and living space. Access to the garage was a nice benefit. Roger was prompt with all communication. We look forward to a return trip.

Great vacation right on the beach

This beach house was a great location for our family, right on the beach and not far to restaurants, grocery and shopping. We really had a great time playing on the beach, which is beautiful and spacious. There is a public beach access right next to the house but the beach was never crowded. The kitchen has everything you need in terms of pots, pans, etc. Everything was clean. My only two things with the house was that the beds upstairs are very lumpy and soft so if you prefer a firm mattress you may want to know that in advance, and the whole house shakes when the washing machine is on spin cycle. Other than that, the house was great for me, my husband, 3 kids and 2 grandparents.

A little slice of Heaven!

This property is truly an Answer To Prayer, it was everything we expected. This was our third trip to Topsail and this lovely home just added more wonderful memories to cherish. The beach views are second to none, and is localized enough to both the North and South ends where shopping and delicious food are always close. We are already looking forward to our next trip back out to Topsail Island.

Great dog friendly beach stay

Answer to a Prayer is the perfect dog friendly beach vacation home. The home is clean, well kept and ON THE BEACH. Owners communicated well. Remember to bring what you need - sheets etc. it is all in the description. We wll be back

Winter Beach

The best part is the location on the beach in a nice neighborhood. The house is comfortable. The new floors in the kitchen/living room are nice. The table is big with enough chairs for everyone and the high chair was really nice. There are beach toys in the garage, which we used. Our stay was everything we wanted.

The layout on your house well suited the need with our daughter's family, which included 2 children, and our batchlor son being with us the week for our 2018 family vacation. Answer to prayer

My husband and I along with our grown children enjoyed a much needed relaxing break together . This property was so perfect for us. Beautiful views from every window and great gated deck for our 5 year old lab. My husband immediately claimed one of the high deck chairs and said this is my spot for morning coffee and every evening! We have all agreed that we would love to return! Roger called after we settled in for any questions…he was super helpful .

Beautiful beach!

Absolutely love this location. It's on the quieter side of the island and almost like being on a private beach. Noting that our stay was during the month of February. Sunrises are amazing and we were fortunate to see dolphins many times during our stay. It's a large house and very well appointed. We spent a lot of time on the deck with the dogs. We worked remotely for a month with no connection issues. Roger, the owner, was very accommodating and very easy to work with. Highly recommend this home.

Beautiful and awesome location!!

This is the second time my family is stayed at this beach house. Its such a wonderful and convenient place to stay when you have kids. As soon as they wake they can run on to the beach and you can sit at your kitchen table or on the porch and watch them play if you want. Theres a shower to rinse off in on the deck before you go back into house and really nice chairs to sit out with a glass of wine and listen to the waves at night, The hosts are always available if you need them, even checking in upon arrival via phone to make sure everything is up to par. Everything in the house is comfy cozy and nice having tvs in every room! I hope to make this our home away from home when we visit Topsail Beach! The beaches are never crowded here which is always a plus as well! Julia and Luis

Answer to prayer stay

We have been coming to Topsail now for several years. This was our first time in N Topsail. We loved it so much better than other places we have stayed. The beach was very clean and not very rocky like other parts of the beach. We did purchase a mop & left for the house along with a new charcoal grill & grilling tongs & spatula. The two grills that were about to fall apart so we went ahead and got a new one. We did not throw the others away in the event you needed to keep them for some reason. We loved it and are in hopes we are able to come back in the future. Your Answer to Prayer was definitely our answer to prayer! Thank you.

Growing up without a North Carolina beach. We love Topsail Island. With the stress of life it is great to get away with friends and family.
We have two grown children who also enjoy joining us at the beach.

Why they chose this property

After sending our daughter off to school at UNC Wilmington in the fall of 2005, we decided to look for a vacation rental in the area. Really just out of curiosity. Being from Ohio this beach is a real treat and being an architect I wanted a house that was architecturally exciting. One of our dear friends had purchased a house and a duplex and told us about Topsail Island,and how quiet and not crowded it was. Well I feel in love with 'Answer to Prayer' in September when I came up for a parents weekend. We waited until March to make an offer and it was still on the market ( in 2005 things were moving a lot faster). We really felt our prayer had been answered when price was reduced, we both were in agreement and the house was available. We have had fun painting and decorating and relaxing with our friends on the deck. Many of our families who stay come back year after year, treat the house as it was their own and call it home. We hope you will enjoy our home too.

What makes this property unique

The house is kid friendly with gates for the stairs going down to the beach and to the driveway. Also suitable for keeping dogs on the deck.
We provide a high chair and games and DVDs.
Each bedroom has a ceiling fan as well as A/C for upstairs and down.


Turtle watching is also quite common in this section of North Topsail Beach.
