Family ski trip
This is a fantastic property with a great location and tons of space! It was very comfortable for our 9 person group (we had hoped to have 13 make it, and it would have been perfect at that size as well). The house is very clean, there were instructions for everything and the property manager was very commmunicative (we had no reason to reach out with questions for anything frankly). Check in and out was also one of the easiest we have ever experienced on the site. Views are amazing, as is the location. Great house for large parties- we would definitely book again!

Great house, lousy manager
Booked this house for a reunion of 6 friends who had not all been together in 45 years. People were coming from various distances and everyone was bringing supplies for different meals. We were looking forward to cooking lots of great food and sitting, talking, eating and enjoying each others company. Mistake #1, renting a house with Vacasa as the manger. I contacted them several days before for the type of coffee maker and was given the wrong info so we had many kuerig pods for a Mr Coffee. Worst part, less than 24 hours prior to arrival I was notified that the oven was not functional so there was lots of scrambling to redo menus and head back to the grocery store for new supplies. I asked for some kind of refund for the rental fee and for someone to call me. Never heard from anyone. Called again the next day (our check in day) and was told we would receive a $60 refund for the loss of this “amenity.” I told this was not acceptable and asked to speak with the local manager. Never heard back. Called again on Monday (check out day) left another message, still nothing. Even called VRBO who tried contacting Vacasa and got the same story. Completely disappointed and disgusted with Vacasa and will never rent anything they have anything to do with ever again. House over all was pleasant enough. Basic bedding, minimal cookwear, glasses and that Mr Coffee. Could use a deep clean and perhaps some chairs on the deck so you could enjoy the view of the mountains.

Great family trip
Our family of 6 adults, 2 teens, and 4 dogs stayed here on a trip to visit some family who live in Vermont. The house was perfect for us! There was plenty of room for all of us, the property was beautiful, and the views from the porch were stunning. It had everything we needed and we would definitely stay again.

Owner let the oil tank run out - no heat!
First off, this property is good and worked out fine for my family. The trip did not start off on a great note. On our way to VT from PA, I had sent a message to Vacasa to see if we could check in at 3:30 instead of 4 since we were running ahead of schedule. We had a 4 and 2 year old in the car for6 hours. Vacasa was very robotic and said we were not allowed to check in until 4. Fine, we killed time for an hour only to get to the house and it was freezing in there. We jacked the thermostats up to 75. Still an hour later jt read 55 degrees in the house. We called Vacasa and they sent a rep out to check things out. It was 5:30 when she arrived. It turns out that the owner let the oil tank run out. Meanwhile it was set to be -21 the following day. The rep insisted that she have to sit in the house with my family until the oil company came because she had to ‘let them in the basement’. She sat at the kitchen table while my family ate dinner, played with our kids and tried to relax after a long day. It was the most uncomfortable thing. It took the oil company until 10pm to deliver the oil. We were all wrapped in blankets and sweaters and shivering. The oil company finally came and the house did warm up fine and the rest of the stay was fine. Shame on the owner. They never contacted us or apologized. Everything was handled by Vacasa who were very robotic and awkward. If you like a hands on property manager and better service do it stay here. The house was in a good location and turned out good but the first day was awful.

We loved staying at the Haven on the Hill. It was perfect for our group.
We loved our stay! More than enough room for everyone. The kitchen had all the essentials and the house was super clean. Would def stay here again and recommend.
