Cozy condo at the main base, nice amenities.
This was very comfortable for 2 people. Responsive host, super easy check in and check out. The condo has 1 bedroom, w comfortable queen and master bath. The second bath has a walk in shower, which we actually preferred. Kitchen is nicely stocked. Also has pull out couch and murphy bed in living room for more people if needed. Nice modern TVs in living room and bedroom - we easily could “cast” from our phones to watch Hulu etc. We liked being on the 2nd floor facing away from the hill, still has a view of the mountains (rather than the back of the Huntley if on a lower floor on the other side) and best of all can skip the elevator and just take the stairs one flight. The Shoshone condo building is attached to the Huntley hotel. The door staff and desk staff are extremely friendly and helpful and don’t seem at all concerned if you are with VRBO or a direct guest of the property. There is an indoor hot tub with connected outdoor pool in the Shoshone, and we were also able to access the Huntley hotel slope-side outdoor pool/ hot-tubs using a keycard. The ski valet on the hill base was complimentary when we mentioned we were staying at Shoshone. Ski lifts are a short walk from the side entrance of Shoshone. Easy to drop back in for lunch mid- day, and a relief to be so close at the end of a ski day (especially compared to everybody who stayed further away waiting on the parking shuttle!) Outdoor self parking (included) was reasonably convenient if you elect to bring a car. We did, and spent a couple days exploring (Lone Mountain Ranch Cross Country Skiing is about 10 minutes away - highly recommend!) . Downsides? None really. A couple early mornings we could hear the snow plow clearing the front entrance driveway outside our window, but that was not a big deal. There is no grill, but we pan-seared steak one night and honestly that might be our new favorite method! The fireplace is electric, but better than nothing. Overall: a nice little condo with easy access to the ski hill, hot tubs, and ski base stores and restaurants makes this condo a great choice. Would stay here again.

Great location
This was a great location for a quick weekend with my husband. Unit itself was clean. Gave 4 stars on cleanliness of property as there were some remnants from previous quest and dishes had been put away dirty that we had to wash before using.
