Overall, the spaciousness & location of the property fit our needs. The property owner was responsive to all of my inquiries & concerns upon checking into the home. However, the spiders & spider webs upon entering the front door was not very welcoming. Along with that, the amount of spiders within the house was very unsettling, especially, in the basement & front living room. The overall home did not feel very clean, towels & bedding were stained in some of the rooms and we just did not feel comfortable. There were NO wash rags in any of the bathrooms which I had to go out and buy wash rags for all of my guests. Additionally, the patio door was broken, there was a hole in the wall of one of the bedrooms, there was a hole in the tile flooring in the front living room, walls were scuffed/dirty in areas, the upholstery on the kitchen chairs were stained in which we did not even want to sit down on them, the kitchen bench was broken and, again, the overall home did not appear clean. I did wash all of the towels in the home, cleaned the bathrooms, and wiped down kitchen surfaces, before, any of my guests used them. I just do not feel that the price paid for this rental was appropriate for our experience.
