A beautiful property and great location. We rented this property for the family. We had 17 of us in all, ages ranging from 50yo to 4 yo. Plenty of space. There a very small issue, but the host was very tentative and had it addressed promptly. The property is located back in the cove. Which allowed everyone to swim privately.

We stayed here for a weeklong family reunion. The house had plenty of room for all of us. We had our coffee on the porch each morning overlooking the lake, swam and fished off the dock each day. The house was clean and on a very quiet street.The location was central to lots of fun things to do. We visited the Bush's baked bean store, Dollywood, Gatlinburg, Sevierville, rode the mountain coaster, and more. There are a few steep steps to get into the house and a lot of steps to walk down to the lake (one could drive to the lake if the steps are too much). This was not a problem for any of us, but just something to keep in mind if mobility is an issue for anyone in your group. Kevin was great to deal with. We would stay here again.

The home was spacious, Comfortable and had all the amenities we needed. Kitchen was stocked, we made chicken and dumplings, chili and more.Location was perfect close enough to Dollywood, Gaitlinburg and Pigeon Forge but yet quiet and peaceful.

Truly a home away from home! Having two kitchens was very helpful for our ladies group! So many bathrooms for everyone to get ready and lots of places to have a quiet moment to yourself when needed. Very spacious and relaxing! Thanks for sharing your home.

Wow! This home took my breathe away. It was beautiful, quiet, warm and inviting. Everything that you needed to entertain family and friends and create wonderful memories together was in this home. Each room was clean and beautifully decorated. You could tell that the owner takes great pride in the home and everything is well-maintained. I loved the fact that it had two kitchens which made cooking multiple items a breeze. The two separate floors of living space made it easy for people to spread out and relax. We enjoyed quiet evenings outside on the deck and other nights playing pool or ping pong or relaxing in the hot tub. Our host Kevin was very helpful and provided us with local recommendations for restaurants and shopping. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this property. I'm looking forward to returning in the future.

The lake is drawn down this time of year so it was non-existent, which was fine, but just letting others know. Neighbors said lake is beautiful in summer months.

Hi Cheryl, yes as explained in this property's listing description, the Tennessee Valley Authority lowers Douglas Lake water level from October through March, so this condition applies to all waterfront properties. We're sorry that you did not realize this prior to your arrival.

Great Family Getaway!

We spent the week here for Thanksgiving and had a wonderful time in the house! Kevin was so great to work with and very responsive to any questions we had. The layout of the house was perfect for our three families and there was plenty of room for our kids of all ages. The views from the house were beautiful and the location was perfect!
