Welcome to Mesa Markings, a relaxing mountain retreat at Tamarron Resort (Lodge Suite #203). This spacious 1-bedroom, 2-bath suite offers the perfect blend of comfort and convenience, ideal for both vacation getaways and remote work escapes.

Enjoy scenic views right from your window, while the open living and dining areas provide plenty of space to unwind. The fully equipped kitchen makes dining a breeze, and you’ll find TVs with Roku and DirecTV in both the living room and bedroom for your entertainment. A dedicated desk and strong WiFi (100+ Mbps) make working remotely and streaming on devices easy and stress-free.

Located just steps from Tamarron’s fantastic amenities, you’ll have access to the heated pool, hot tub, and fitness center. As a special bonus, our guests enjoy exclusive discounted access to Glacier’s 18-hole Valley Course (details provided after booking).

Whether you're here for golf, hiking, skiing, or simply recharging, Mesa Markings offers a peaceful, well-appointed home-base for your mountain escape.

ON-SITE AMENITIES AT THE LODGE INCLUDE: indoor pool, outdoor heated pool, outdoor hot tub, sauna, steam shower, fitness center, golf at a special discounted rate, tennis, pickleball, playground, 3 on-site restaurants, and event center. There is an EV Charging Station available for guest use in the Valley Clubhouse parking lot, adjacent to the Tamarron Lodge. There is a $20 per person ski shuttle to purgatory on weekends - tickets must be purchased in advance and the pick-up location is in the Valley Clubhouse parking lot.

LOCATION: Tamarron sits at around 7800 feet in elevation and is just 10 minutes south of Purgatory Ski Resort and 20 minutes north of downtown Durango. Many guests stay here to visit Purgatory Ski Resort, which offers a variety of restaurants, winter and summer activities, and festivals/events.

The condo and view were great. The beds however were very hard and I had to use the couch. The main bathroom has not been updated but the bedroom one has. I would not stay in this unit again only because of the beds.

I didn’t expect all that it was so gorgeous that I didn’t wanna leave my room. The only thing that I didn’t enjoy was that we couldn’t take our own drinks into the pool area. I’m not talking about alcohol drinks but any type of drinks not even for the kids. But I would highly recommend anybody to stay there.

The kitchen is well-stocked.There is no dishwasher or disposal, so cooking can be hard.The beds are comfortable. Please note that this is essentially a 1BR + living space. Technically it is a 2 BR, but one bedroom has two queen beds and the other has a queen pull put, but it shares the room with the kitchen (think of that bedroom as a studio apartment). The bathrooms are a great size. Condo amenities are good too. We used both the indoor and outdoor pools. Laundry is available on the floor down the hall.The views out the windows are phenomenal.There is AC.

Shower head was moldy and tiles had white calcium deposits on them. Faucet leaked entire five weeks we were their. Kitchen was missing normal utilities, no ice cream scoop, no pizza cutter, few bowls, no regular toaster, not enough silverware, etc. No dishwasher and a very small sink. No instruction on how to use TV controllers. Lighting in rooms could be better, none above dining table. Too many items around rooms that we had to move out of the way. The front door staff was always very friendly and helpful. Pool was great, view from the condo was very nice. Because of cost, over $6,000 for five weeks, we would not stay in this condo again. We would give it a two star rating. Door #203 to condo was difficult to impossible to open. Takes about 20 minutes to get into Durango. Watch out for deer!

VRC is amazing

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: VRC is outstanding they were so accommodating. When we first got to are room. The coffee pot didn't work and I have to have my coffee. I let them know and I had a working coffee pot before the day was over. My kids enjoyed the pool and playground. The Cliffside bar and grill has the best pizza I have ever eatin. And the Glacier staff is so friendly and wonderful. The front desk crew at the lodge was so amazing although there was one girl that I really think might need some customer service training. Every time she worked she barely looked up from her phone or computer. And made it very clear that she just wanted to get people through register process and away from her. There was even a time that there were guests waiting at the front desk for a very long time. And she was out walking her dogs. Noone was at the desk at all and in my opinion that is so unprofessional. The gentleman who works most graveyards definitely needs a raise he is absolutely a charm and looks and acts like he loves his job. All around our two month stay was absolutely amazing. And I will 100 percent rent through VRC. From now on. Thank you.ll

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit was as advertised: clean, spacious, close to the Lodge amenities (pool/fitness area), and with a beautiful view. It was a perfect choice for our family of five, with three teenage boys. The lodge is about 15-20 minutes north of Durango, and is well located to take advantage of activities in town as well as nearby attractions such as Mesa Verde N.P. and the “Million Dollar Highway “ to Silverton and Ouray. The Lodge also has a laundry vending area that was convenient and saved our family a lot of luggage space for a week-long trip.

We had a great stay in room 201-203. The pool and playground was a big hit with my daughters - all under 8. The pullout sofa added some extra lounge space for the kids. Beautiful views, clean, well stocked! The big shower was fantastic and having a tub was great for the littles.

Fantastic Condo with amazing views

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo is wonderful with plenty of room for a family of 4. The Glacier resort property is beautiful, scenic, and quiet. Half of this condo is the bedroom area with 2 full-sized beds. The other side is the kitchen/living room area. The kitchen area is small but functional with a full-sized fridge/freezer, 4-burner stove, and microwave. There is no dishwasher. There's also no laundry in the condo, but there is coin laundry at the end of the hallway. There's a full-sized bathroom on each side of the condo. The property is about a 20-25 minute drive to downtown Durango and a 15-minute drive to Purgatory. The closest off-site restaurant (James Ranch) is a about a 10-15 minute drive, and it's well worth it for the burgers and mint chocolate chip ice cream. Highly recommend this property.
