The house was extremely clean and absolutely beautiful. It was the perfect getaway to celebrate my sisters birthday. Margaret was a great owner and very attentive before and during our stay. She even gave me recommendations for the things I said we were interested in doing while we were there. I highly recommend this home.

Long weekend in Penn Yan

We had a wonderful time taking in the views and enjoying this house, plenty of space for people to spread out, minutes from town for groceries or ice cream. The hosts were so gracious and hospitable, couldn't have been better w every facet of communication. Highly recommend this place for finger lake get aways.

Fantastic stay at Keuka Lake

We had a great time staying at your property! Everything was exactly as pictured. We stayed over the Thanksgiving holiday and I was able to make our dinner in your well stocked kitchen. We loved the views of the lake! Overall a fantastic property with an amazingly attentive and responsive host! Definitely recommend!!

Awesome house on Finger Lakes

Had a family trip at this house, July 27 to August 3 of 2024 and it was amazing. So much space, decorated so well and comfortably, Felt right at home! Margaret has stocked the house with everything from sheets and towels to food serving trays, glasses for all kinds of drinks and a coffee maker. Highly recommend!!

Relaxing family vacation getaway!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our weeklong stay in this home! We had 9 adults and one toddler, and there was plenty of room for all of us! The home is beautifully decorated and immaculate. The kitchen is very well supplied! Margaret is an attentive host.. we would definitely stay here again! And, the house is 5 minutes from anything you may need in Penn Yan! The area is beautiful and very relaxing!

Could have stayed longer

Location was great, close to a lot of activities while also feeling away from the fray. Host was very attentive and checked in with us before and after the stay. We had kids with us and enjoyed visiting Keuka Lake State Park beach and using the provided kayaks. House is nice with great outdoor areas and a hot tub. Right up the hill is an excellent brewery, and there are plenty of wineries around the area. You're right on the main road, but it wasn't noisy, particularly at night.

Fantastic home with a fantastic location

My whole family stayed for a week at Margaret's beautiful home (me, my husband, my 18 month old, dog, my parents and my sister). The home and location exceeded our expectations and Margaret made sure everything was perfect. She went above and beyond to make my whole family, dog included, feel welcome. We loved the home and the view of the lake from the morning room was perfect. We were never more than 10 minutes from anything. It was fabulous. We cannot stop talking about what a great time we had. Hope to be able to stay here again.

Delightful extended family get away

Thank you to our exceptional hosts for providing an inviting, cozy and spotless home for our family to gather. Their attention to detail began before our arrival, with a welcome phone call, thoughtful hospitality favors and countless amenities provided. Our dogs loved romping in the large front yard and we all loved lounging on the upper and lower decks. The large kitchen table was ideal for our family game nights. The house is just a few minutes drive to Penn Yan, Keuka Lake State Park and lots of wineries. Our family gives this beautiful home 5 stars for hosts who have thought of everything.

Not lakeside, but the house is great

The house is beautiful and well-maintained inside and out. There are three full bathrooms, so our party, three couples and two young kids, had plenty of privacy. The only downside, for some, might be that there is a major highway (NY-54A) and another road between the home and the lake. Definitely not walkable. This is no problem if, as we were, you're there to drive from vineyard to vineyard and brewery to brewery.

Finger Lakes Family Vacation

This house was perfect for our yearly family vacation with our kids and granddaughter. The rooms were beautiful and the outdoor space amazing! It felt secluded, yet was close to all the amenities we might need. The kitchen was awesome and very well stocked which we were grateful for. Margaret, our host, was very attentive. She was always available for questions and checked in on us. The little touches were greatly appreciated, starting with the welcome gift bag including a bottle of wine. We definitely felt at home. Brought along our fur babies and even they were made to feel at home with toys, treats, beds and bowls provided! We would recommend this house to everyone! Looking forward to planning our next vacation there.

Wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home that well exceeded our expectations. Children, adults, and dog all especially enjoyed the expansive property and amazing decks. The home has a great floor plan, lovely decor, comfy couches and beds, and a fantastic kitchen (we’re a group that loves to cook, even on vacation!) and an amazing spot for morning coffee or evening read. The personalized, thoughtful touches (including treats for our dog!) were so appreciated. The location is fantastic - close to the lake of course, as well as restaurants, stores, and activities. Margaret was so easy to communicate with and so very delightful to speak with leading up to and during the trip. She provided extremely helpful recommendations which we especially were grateful for being new to the area. We all had so much fun and really felt right at home from the moment we opened the door. Can’t wait to return!

Perfect Family Vacation

This home was perfect from the time we walked in the door. It felt just like being in a family members home. It was so clean and homey. There was plenty of room for our large family. Loved sitting in the morning room drinking our coffee and looking at the beautiful lake. We enjoyed a sunrise float on the 2 kayaks provided. The kitchen was equipped with everything our own kitchen has. Beds were very comfortable. The living room has a huge sectional that all 7 of us cuddled up on to watch a nightly movie. We all loved the fire pit. Our pup loved the huge backyard. She is off leash trained so we didn't worry that she would run towards to road at the front of the house. Loved all the beautiful flowers and succulents. Margaret was a delight to work with and was so helpful. We will return!!

House is very clean, cozy and updated with lots of attention to detail in the decorating and season (had mums and several pumpkins with sweet Fall decor inside too)! Simply beautiful. Kitchen had everything you would need. Owners are great to work with! The back porch is so nice. We enjoyed the fire pit. Went to Kayuka Spring Vinyards and it was stunning with great views too. We were in town for the Wine Glass Marathon in Corning.

There were many pluses with this property. It was tastefully decorated, wonderfully stocked, and VERY clean. The house had so much appeal. There was a beautiful view, a morning room that was nice in the morning to wake up with a cup of coffee. The lower level had well stocked games, with a TV and couch if you wanted to hang out there. Outside patio was terrific. The fire pit area, the bar area and an area with couch and chairs: an area to hang with everyone. The host was great, always got back to me quickly with the few issues we had. She also suggested a few restaurants and ice cream places in the area which was great. Now for the cons. It isn’t listed in the description, but the land is on a slope. You can’t even use the backyard. The front yard only has one area that is flat. it was disappointing to not have flat land. My grandkids and sons brought bikes to ride around, but couldn’t because the whole driveway, which is very long, is all stone. So again that was disappointing and I wish it was in the property description. The other thing that also was frustrating was in the downstairs bedrooms, the blinds were not blackout blinds. All night long we had light in our room due to the garage light always being on. This was also the case in the side bedroom. They got bright light all night long from the motion detector on the patio right outside their window. They finally had to put a blanket over their window so they could sleep. Even with everything we would rent again

Family time in a great location

The house was great and had everything we needed for the week. Super clean, with plenty of room to spread out, but cozy spaces to enjoy as well. We like to cook together and found the kitchen well stocked. And the location was very convenient for groceries, gasoline and as a starting point for day trips.

Amazing weekend away with girlfriends

Great spot. Took six girl friends for a mom’s weekend off. This house has everything and more! Fire pit, hot tub, deck with amazing views, games and everything you could want in a kitchen. We had coffee and wine on repeat. Would be a great spot in warm months but we enjoyed toasty fireplaces and several sitting areas to hang out and unwind. Did wine tour of the lake and was gorgeous. Margaret was responsive and wonderful. We can’t wait to come back!
