"Exceptional Central Apartment in Nice with Wonderful Host

Excellent location, very nice apartment

I guess I couldn’t ask for more for the price. This apartment is in Carré d’Or, which personally I thought was a better location than the crowded old town, while just a few mins walk from everything. Carré d’Or itself offers a great variety of food, drinks and shopping options and it’s quite a happening place at night. Not to mention the beach is just a stone’s throw away. Now the apartment itself - it’s in a really nice building and despite the occasional lows music in the bars on the street on weekends, you wouldn’t hear a thing once inside. The bed was really comfortable and most importantly for me the air conditioning was quite a relief every night after a hot and humid day out. The bathroom, the kitchen and the living room all were very well equipped. The only thing one might miss is the wifi but it wasn’t a huge deal for me. The manager Laurent was great and went out of the way to help me out to show me a local bakery, grocery store, pharmacy and parking. I would highly recommend this place.

Great location - Responsive Host

Pros - Beautiful apartment in a pedestrian only area. Walking distance to Old Town shops, restaurants, churches, etc. and other popular tourist sites. Two blocks from the Promenade des Anglais. We drove from Perequeux during the farmer's strike and consequently arrived much later than we planned and were unable to return our rental car until the next morning. Our host was wonderfully sympathetic. He was waiting for us when we arrived, helped us with our luggage, explained where there was a public parking lot where we were able to park overnight, and showed us around the apartment. When we had an issue with the dishwasher, he came to the apartment to fix the problem. Cons - There is a small elevator, but there are a few steps before you reach the elevator. There is an under the counter refrigerator, but no freezer. We had the heat on and apparently you have to be careful to run the dishwasher on the right setting or it trips the circuit breaker. Once we learned which setting to use, it solved the problem. We didn't try using the washer. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Helles und ruhiges Apartment

Wir haben eine Woche im August 2022 im Apartment Carré d`Or verbracht und uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Herr Eychenne hat uns freundlich vor Ort begrüßt und uns mit guten Informationen für unseren Aufenthalt versorgt. Die Wohnung ist hell, freundlich, sauber und gut ausgesatttet. Mitten im Trubel der Stadt ist es dort absolut ruhig. Das Meer und der Strand sind in wenigen Minuten erreichbar. In die Altstadt ist es nicht weit. Für uns war es ein idealer Standort. Wir würden diese Wohnung weiterempfehlen und kommen vielleicht irgendwann wieder.

Excellent! Calme, lumineux et très central - parfait pour notre séjour à Nice

Nous avons beaucoup aimé notre séjour, cet appartement est très bien placé dans le Carré d'Or et à quelques pas de la Promenade des Anglais. L'appartement est bien lumineux, climatisé (!) avec une grande salle de bains, et donne sur l'arrière du bâtiment ce qui a comme avantage d'être très calme. Aussi, une porte double et vitrée permet de séparer la chambre à coucher du salon/de la cuisine, portes qu'on peut laisser ouvertes pour avoir une pièce plus grande. En fait, il y a beaucoup de place pour deux personnes, y compris manger ensmeble sur le balcon. Le propriétaire ainsi que le contact local étaient très aimables.

Appartement très bien placé, calme et entrée sécurisée. La place Massena est proche ainsi que la promenade des Anglais. Propriétaire très réactif aux questions et très aimable. La personne chargée de la remise des clés était très aimable également. Une bonne expérience!
