Secluded Mtn View - 5 ACRES Private Cabin - Hot tub + Outdoor fireplace + Hiking

Have we got a view for you! Enjoy beautiful mountain views from this cozy secluded cabin. Sitting on 5 acres of land this open concept prow front cabin is located less than 15 minutes from downtown Blue Ridge! With recently installed fiber internet this cabin features open concept living with up to date kitchen appliances, gas range, and granite countertops. You can find two stacked stone fireplaces, one inside and one outside on the porch. Enjoy those beautiful mountain views from almost any angle in the living space with floor to ceiling doors and windows! Upstairs you can find a spacious master bedroom with a full master bath and private porch. On the main floor you can find a second guest bedroom with a queen size bed and full bathroom across the hall. Currently our basement is under construction and is only to be used for access to the hot tub and outdoor fire pit.

When visiting the mountains you should expect hilly and gravel roads. We recommend an AWD/4WD vehicles especially during wintry weather. However, in most circumstances a 2WD should be sufficient as most roads are paved. The road leading to the cabin is a well maintained gravel road. Due to the elevation of the cabin the driveway to the is a little steep, however paved access makes for easy driving.

My husband and I had a restful and relaxing stay. The cabin is nicely furnished and very clean. The furniture was comfortable and the hot tub was wonderful. We also loved the gas logs! Relaxing anniversary getaway

The cabin was beautiful and relaxing. Chairs were all comfy and the bed was so comfortable that we slept a lot later than usual (could also have been due to the lack of the kids on our trip). Any questions were answered super quickly. It is a steep drive to the cabin but totally worth it. There are great hiking and off road trails close to the cabin and all over the area.

The cabin was super nice and very clean! We loved everything about it and how exclusive it was on its own in the woods. There was a book there provided with any kind of information we needed which was helpful. Service is kinda spotty there, so you will need to connect to the Wi-Fi they have provided and then you are good to go! We had no complaints of our stay!

We've stayed in about a dozen cabins in north GA over the years, and Copper Cub may be the best one yet. Highlights: fantastic views, remote, very clean, felt brand new, great layout, well stocked kitchen. Relaxing was easy as this cabin is very comfortable. Copper Cub checks all my required cabin boxes, too: outdoor fireplace, hot tub, grill, nice kitchen for cooking... The owners were very nice, as well. Communication was a breeze. We definitely recommend Copper Cub Cabin, and will definitely be back! (Can't wait to see how they finish the bottom level)

We stayed in Blue Ridge and Cherry Log for the past 3 years and this cabin blew the doors off of the other 3 we stayed at. CLEAN,CLEAN and CLEAN. Breathtaking views of the nearby mountains, beautifully decorated for the holiday season and had any and everything in their kitchen you would need to cook a 5 course meal. Not only is there a jacuzzi outside but there's one in the master bedroom which was AMAZING. Can't say enough about how the hosts keep this place so well maintained. IT'S A MUST BOOK if you're looking to stay in this part of GA. hands down. You're 20 min away from Downtown Ellijay and Blue Ridge. Overall amazing experience

We had a great weekend here! The house was clean, had a well appointed kitchen for cozy nights in, great view, was nice to have a fireplace & fire pit, the hot tub area was well lit (most places aren’t) & the property is only about a 20m drive to anywhere you’d want to go. A handful of snacks were awaiting us when we arrived & my 3 yo was very happy about that! The last part of the drive up to the house is *very* steep & I was glad we had 4WD, especially since it had been raining. Don’t think we would have felt comfortable driving at night since we’re not used to the mountain roads but you really had no reason to leave anyways!

PERFECT GETAWAY!

Copper Cub is everything its advertised as and more! The location is very private and exciting to get too,the views are spectacular, on our first afternoon there we had a cold front move in from the north west and the clouds pushed into the gap and was really cold,we were very pleased with the view we had. To our surprise on the next day when the clouds moved out our view was even more impressive,our long range view grew by a couple mountains and the higher elevations that were in the clouds had frozen and the tops of the mountains looked like crystal forest! Totally relaxing view from every level of the house especially the HOT TUB!

Perfect stay - Plan to come back at least once a year

My husband and I stayed here for his 50th birthday weekend. It was above and beyond in meeting our rental criteria. We wanted seclusion. It checked that box. There is some road noise from the main road leading to the cabin drive that we did not expect and it was pretty consistent. There were no leaves on the trees so this probably contributed to the road noise. This was totally tolerable given how perfect the cabin and property is. The property is better than described and pictured in the listing. The other big requirement for us is a comfortable master bed. The bed and upstairs master suite were so comfortable and well appointed. The floor plan and decor of the cabin are well thought out and accommodating. The hot tub was clean and we loved how it was situated by the fire pit and allowed for enjoying the view. This was another criteria on our list that this cabin met perfectly. It was easy to get to Blue Ridge to enjoy a nice dinner or lunch but we did not want to leave the cabin! Our favorite spot was sitting on the covered deck next to the outdoor fireplace enjoying coffee/cocktails. Two nights here was not near long enough. The final climb up the cabin drive is steep as described by other reviews but many visitors have made it up in cars. We were in an F150 and had no issues. May be a different story in snow/ice as it is steep but should not be a deterrent to potential renters. I would not advise initial arrival at night just to be on the safe side.

We really enjoyed the entire cabin! The master bed suite was beautiful, loved the shower, jacuzzi tub and private balcony. The hot tub downstairs was so relaxing right next to the fire pit. Kitchen was stocked way better than we expected to be! Made some wonderful meals. The only downfall was the driveway and road up to the property. Even in a f150 we had a lot of trouble getting up, getting stuck a couple times. Definitely would love to come back but next time with a 4x4 vehicle. 5 star cabin!!

Thanks for stopping by and checking out Copper Cubs Cabin! We are located in Cherry Log GA about a 15 minute drive from Blue Ridge, 20 mins from downtown Ellijay and 20 mins from Mccaysville, GA. We absolutely LOVE it in the North Georgia Mountains and decided to purchase this home as a vacation cabin. We reside full time in Florida and wanted to give others the opportunity to enjoy this beautiful place as much as we do.
