The house, location and amenities are excellent. Communication with the host was excellent. If this is the part of NC you want to visit, this is a great place to stay!
Beautiful water front view. Everything was what we expected and had a great hunting vacation. Jacqueline was very helpful with our questions. Will definitely be back!
This is an awesome place to stay. The best I’ve ever stayed in. Everything clean and inviting. Neighbors were also the best you could as for. Definitely will return to this place.
Wonderful views from deck. We had a great time watching dolphins and enjoying the sunrises ,sunsets and quiet . Thank you for sharing your home with us
We had a wonderful and relaxing time. The house was comfortable, clean and well stocked with the essentials. My absolute favorite was the amazing deck. I watched the sunrise and the sunset everyday while sitting out there! Will definitely be back!!
Had a great time with friends. Great home big deck with fishing pier and more. Would highly recommend!! Watched dolphins the last morning. Great escape!!
While the weather was terrible for most of our trip, we made the most of our time and thoroughly enjoyed this property. The house was clean and well stocked. We enjoyed the puzzles and board games on the rainy days. The boat ramp was extremely convenient and we enjoyed fishing from the dock. The owner was great with answering any questions and even allowed us some extra time due to the weather. We will definitely be back!
This weekend was all about the men of my family. We had a great time. The home was exactly as pictured and described. We spent the our days fishing from the property, kayaking, and cooking great meals. Everyone was impressed with the property, the layout and the cleanliness. My youngest grandson caught over 30-fish. The view from the back deck was wonderful with cool breezes coming off the water. The atmosphere was quiet, with little to no distractions. This is great getaway for anyone.
Our time was great, property managers were prompt in communication and the house is lovely. The only complaints are that it’s quite remote (which was a plus for nature and peacefully, just a bit of a drive to stores and not much to do locally), and the kitchen/bathrooms could have been a bit cleaner (oven and microwave had food residue/crumbs, sinks and faucets were speckled and unwiped). Pretty minor stuff, truth be told. Lots of beautiful wildlife, from deer to jellyfish, dolphins and crabs and jumping fish. All in all a beautiful, memorable stay. Thanks so much for sharing your home!
The home on Pamlico is a fine place to stay. No problems except a persistent northeast wind almost nonstop , even though weatherman predicted light southwest. That put a damper on fishing and water toys, but we still had fun.
Thanks
Loved this Getaway Paradise!!! Amazing location with a perfect dock for fishing, crabbing, swimming or just enjoying the peaceful tranquility. One of little guys said best vacation ever!!! We cannot wait to come back!!!
It's a wonderful house with a great view of the river. It had furnishings that met all our needs.
Since the five days we stayed there were so hot and humid that we couldn't enjoy being outside most of the time (fortunately the air conditioning was working well), we hope to return in the spring and the fall when weather is more moderate. Would love to spend hours on the porch watching the river go by.
The property was very clean and the perfect location for our fishing trip. The onsite boat ramp was wide enough to accommodate our 23 ft Robalo Cayman, after moving a few rocks that had washed up on the ramp. The dock was large enough for setting up chairs for some evening and late night fishing. Just remember to bring flashlights and bug spray! All three bedrooms were made up nicely and we had plenty of room for our group. The homeowners were very nice and quick to answer any questions. We loved our long weekend at this property and hope to be visiting again soon!
The property was great and included all the necessities. The owner was very responsive to our questions and I never felt like I was a bother. We really enjoyed sitting on the deck in the mornings with a cup of coffee and on the dock in the evenings watching the spectacular sunsets.
My family and I had a great stay at this property. Check in was a breeze. The home was very clean. We spent most of our time on the very large dock relaxing in the sun and fishing. We enjoyed kayaking and seeing all of the wildlife. A group of dolphins visited one evening at the dock. My 8 year old caught a 24 inch red drum right from the dock. Jackie, the owner, was very nice and available if we needed anything. We will return!
