Driveway was icy. One stuck on the train tracks. Other than that it was a nice place!

The freezing rain made it hard to get in and out of the driveway. The house was perfect for our Christmas!

Alpenglow is an optical phenomenon that appears as a reddish glow near the horizon opposite to the Sun at sunset. This effect is easily visible here in the mountains, causing the peaks glow red at sun down. It is also the name of our property. We want Alpenglow to be a place to escape and recharge; to bask in the sun, play in the snow, and breathe the fresh air.

Nestled in the treeline just 8 miles north of downtown Leavenworth, Alpenglow is situated on 10 acres of private forest land with walking trails, campsites, a private yoga studio and a private gym. The property is close to restaurants, hiking trails, mountain biking, lakes, river rafting, and skiing. Whether you are hosting a retreat, a private workshop, or a family vacation, Alpenglow will be the perfect basecamp to endless alpine adventures.
