About this property

Peaceful Chalet 1 Bdrm King A/C

Settle in our cozy peaceful chalet (450 sq ft) and large private outdoor deck located in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by mature fir and larch trees. Our Chalet is located on its own 1 acre lot. Please note: There are about 6 steps leading up to main entrance see photos for reference. Although close to town, many of our guests comment they feel "secluded and away from everything" !

Sleep comfortably in our King bed, take advantage of our fully loaded kitchen and relax on the private outdoor deck with grill and propane fire pit. The living room features a full sleeper sofa with upgraded memory foam mattress. We have soft water as well as reverse osmosis on kitchen sink faucet.

A separate private laundry room and workspace is available for our guests in the building. No shared space!

Conveniently located just off Highway 35, we are less than 2 miles from Flathead Lake and just over a mile to downtown Village of Bigfork.

Glacier National Park is a beautiful 45 minute drive away. In the winter, enjoy our local nordic cross country ski trails, snowshoe & snowmobiling! Blacktail Mountain and Whitefish Mountain Ski Resort are an hour away.

Peaceful Getaway

Quiet and peaceful as advertised but also minutes away from restaurants, groceries, and all the nature and recreation the area has to offer. The host obviously takes care to make sure the property is clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

Peaceful Chalet

"Peaceful Chalet" is aptly named. A beautiful, quiet setting and house with an excellent and responsive host easy to contact. The house is well supplied for cooking and sleeping with some of the thickest towels I've ever used. Delightfully decorated with original artworks. A beautiful deck for sitting outside under pine trees. Loved our stay.

Why they chose this property

We love our property! Location, Location, Location! Our property is located about 1/4 mile off Highway 35, 1.5 miles from the downtown village of Bigfork, and 2 miles north of Flathead Lake. We are close to everything local but still feels very secluded. And we absolutely love spending summers on the Flathead Lake or exploring Glacier National Park which is just 45 minutes away!

What makes this property unique

Peaceful Chalet is surrounded by mature fir and larch trees. We love hearing the sounds of the trees swaying in a gentle breeze, the chirping and singing of the birds, and watching wildlife roam nearby such as deer, fox, and wild turkeys.
