Floors and showers

Property was updated and nice. We did expect more for the cleanliness. Floors made our feet black. Under the couch was crumbs and dirt. Also, the shower in the master bathroom was full of mildew. We cleaned the shower the best we could and swept the floors, but it was still dirty. We left 4.5 days earlier because of this.

DO NOT BOOK THIS UNIT

As a local to this area, I have visited Portofino frequently. I have never been in a condo there that was as dirty as this unit and sparse in furnishing and kitchen supplies. This is clearly a Unit that is only ever used as a cash cow, no owner actually frequents it with the way it is furnished etc.. The sofa needs to be replaced, my husband would not even sit on it as he felt like he sat thru to the floor, he called it a yard sale couch. The beds were just a mattress on a pallet frame, so they were extremely close to the floor and lacking the support a box spring would have supplied. The entire condo was filthy. My toddler was walking around in just socks until we realized the bottom of her socks were black with dirt. The kitchen was sparse. It felt like we were staying at someone's college apartment the entire week, and with the price that you are paying here that should not be the case. Portofino has changed to say the least if this is the new standard there... will not be back. Save yourself the headache and book a different unit and hope their cleaning standards get better.
