Stay at Gite

This was a wonderful place. It is quiet, clean and contemporary. Language was an issue as we do not speak French or German, but we managed. I would stay here again.

Memorable holiday

First time visit to the Bas-Rhin region and based in Barr was perfect to reach all places. Gite Le Léonardo was a perfect apartment. We had a two week holiday at the Gite. Everything about the gite was great quality and it was very well equipped. We were met by Henry (the owner) who explained everything to us and told us to contact him for any issues during our stay. Special mention to the beds which seemed very new and were very comfortable (very much appreciated after many days walking around towns, villages and the countryside). The apartment is within 5 min walk of the town of Barr which is a delight. We ate several meals at the local Winstub restaurant serving traditional Alsacian food. We also enjoyed buying food at the local markets and cooking in the gite. Very nice touch that Henry and his wife Madeline left some lovely gifts at the start of the holiday. Especially delightful were the home made configures. Would not hesitate to recommend the gite

Gite de Leonardo ist ein 5 Sterne Appartment mit allem Komfort und Ausstattung in Küche, Bad, Aufenthalt und Terasse. Barr ist auf jeden Fall zum Weinfest eine Reise Wert und die Umgebung ist großartig zum Wandern zu den vielen Burgen oder in den Weinbergen. Très bel appartement, tout à fait conforme à l’annonce, bien équipé - on y trouve tout ce dont on a besoin. Nous avons profité de la terrasse pour déjeuner au calme et au soleil. Les cadeaux de bienvenue sont très appréciables et le propriétaire est très disponible. Le centre de Barr est accessible à pieds. Nous reviendrons !

Wir sind sehr freundlich vom Vermieter persönlich begrüßt worden. Er hat uns die Ausstattung der Wohnung (gemütlichen Wohnraum, sehr gut ausgestattete Küche mit Spülmaschine, die keine Wünsche offenließ, bequeme Betten, Waschmaschine) und kleinen Garten mit Liegestühlen, Sitzecke und Sonnenschirm gezeigt.Besonderes Merkmal: viele Kleinigkeiten von vorhandenen Spülmaschinentabs, Kaffeefiltern, Grundgewürze über das Waschmittel für die Waschmaschine bis hin zu einem liebevollen geschnürten Begrüßungspaket aus Sekt, selbstgemachter Marmelade und kleinen Kuchen.Der Standort war ideal sowohl für Stadtbesuche Straßburg, Colmar und die Orte der Weinstraße wie auch für Wandertouren und Radtouren.Einkaufsmöglichkeiten: 2 Supermärkte und ein Lidl.Vielen Dank für die wundervolle Unterkunft!

Toller Aufenthalt

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Woche in einer tollen Ferienwohnung. Die Wohnung ist noch relativ neu und wirklich sehr gut ausgestattet. Es gab einen sehr freundlichen persönlichen Empfang von Henry mit kleinen Gastgeschenken von seiner Frau. Die Betten waren wirklich bequem. Die Lage ist sehr zentral zwischen Colmar und Strasbourg, so konnten wir jede Menge Ausflüge machen. Es standen 2 private Parkplätze zur Verfügung. Bei schönem Wetter kann man es sich auf der Terasse gemütlich machen, aber dafür war es hier schon zu kalt. Man ist in 10 Minuten in den Ort gelaufen und findet gute Lokale. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Schönes Urlaubsdomizil

Die Wohnung war sehr schön, bestens ausgestattet und gute Lage. Die Geschäfte waren fussläufig prima erreichbar. Wir haben uns in Barr sehr wohlgefühlt und hatten einen tollen Ausgangspunkt, um Elsass und Vogesen kennenzulernen. Wir waren sehr zufrieden.

Heerlijk appartement in Barr van alle gemakken voorzien

Een prima stek in de Elzas om de wijnroute op de fiets te verkennen. Het appartement ligt tegen het centrum aan. S morgens lekker vers brood halen en er is een supermarkt. Alles op loopafstand. Henry is een zeer vriendelijke host. Het appartement is schoon en alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig.

Überdurchschnittliche Ferienwohnung

Die Ferienwohnung ist wunderbar – fast schon luxuriös - ausgestattet, mit allem, was man braucht und sehr sauber. Alles entspricht der Beschreibung und den Fotos. Sehr ruhige Lage und Umgebung, schöne Terrasse mit Tisch und, Stühlen, Liegen und Sonnenschirm. Für Ausflüge zu verschiedenen Sehenswürdigkeiten im Elsass ist die Wohnung recht zentral gelegen. Vermieter Henry ist extrem freundlich und aufmerksam und die Willkommensgeschenke von ihm und seiner Frau sind sehr großzügig! Merci beaucoup! Wir können die Wohnung wärmstens empfehlen.
