Bueler's Day Off
This home is in a great location with ocean views. Unfortunately, it was a bit run down & dirty. Upon arrival, the front of the house was smeared with dirt & there was a mangled window screen laying in the front yard. Not very inviting. Many of the blinds were broken and many windows did not open. There was a table on the top balcony covered in melted Citronella candles which had dripped onto the second floor balcony. The lowest level has an outdoor shower that had feces on the floor of it! There was pool furniture scattered everywhere. What a mess! The bathrooms and kitchen were fairly clean. However, this house needs a good deep cleaning. Furniture & dressers had not been cleaned & many furniture pieces had visible unknown substances on them. There was what looked like urine on the upstairs wall. It looked as if a dog had urinated on the wall. The last thing we wanted to do was call to have someone come in & clean when we just wanted to relax & enjoy our long awaited vacation. This should have been done prior to our arrival. Needless to say, we left this home cleaner than it was when we arrived.
On our last day there our check out time was 10:00AM. The cleaning crew showed up at 9:00AM, parked in the driveway across the street and literally stood outside of their vehicle in the driveway staring at our house. At 9:45 they pulled into our driveway, unloaded their cleaning supplies & entered the house prior to our 10:00AM departure time.
