Beach Glass Cottage on North Beach w/Hot Tub - Unforgettable Views

Living Spaces
Your group of up to 14 guests will find plenty of room to spread out here (and plenty of nooks for tucking away in solitude). Watch the waves from your marvelous lakefront living area on the main floor, with its nap-worthy sectional sofa and double-sided fireplace. On the second floor (with most of the bedrooms), sneak away with a good book in the sitting area, which features a TV, a sofa, and an armchair. Head up one more floor to the lofted family room, which also features a wall of lake-view windows, plus a kitchenette with a mini-fridge for keeping cold drinks within close reach. This space accesses the third-floor deck, where you'll find a seagull's view of the beach and lake. Two more decks await on each of the other floors. The second-floor deck is home to the hot tub —an unforgettable spot on a winter day!

Peak & Non-Peak Season
During the peak season, this home has a 7-night minimum and rent Saturday - Saturday. As we approach the season, we may have more flexibility with the schedule and will consider shorter stays so please send an inquiry to let us know you are interested in a shorter stay. If you are interested in staying a full week in the non-peak season, September through April, please send an inquiry with your travel dates and we are happy to provide weekly pricing for your trip.

Cooking & Dining
The roomy, open kitchen (completely remodeled in 2024) will quickly become the central hub for snacking, chatting, and planning your day in South Haven. A sprawling island seats 6 at barstools for morning coffees or wine and hors d'oeuvres before dinner. When it's time to prep a group feast, the stainless steel oven and hooded gas range are ready and waiting. Cozy up to dinner at the dining table for 6 beside the double-sided fireplace. Or head out to the second-floor deck for an alfresco meal as you watch the sun sink into Lake Michigan! The grillmasters in your group can work their magic at the gas grill on the third-floor deck.

Bed & Bath
On the main level, you'll find one queen-size bedroom and a (separate) full bath, ideal for those with difficulty on the stairs. The second floor is home to three bedrooms, including an indulgent lakefront Master suite with a king bed, access to the second-floor hot tub deck, and a spa-like en-suite bath with a lake-view soaking tub and glass-enclosed shower. The other two bedrooms (one with a lighthouse view!) have queen beds and share a Jack-and-Jill bath with a tub/shower combo. On the third level, you'll find a half-bath—convenient when you're hanging on the deck. On the main level, a laundry room with a full-sized washer and dryer ensures your bathing suits and beach towels stay fresh.

4 Generations 1 House

This house was the perfect setting for our Christmas gathering. We all had a room and gave the children the 3rd floor for themselves. The town is a lovely charming place with quality restaurants and cute shops. The views of the lake were perfect and the house had a perfect layout for a vacation home. Quality company with a quality home!

Wonderful Lake House!

The property was stunning, exactly as described and shown in photos. We had 6 adults and two babies. Everything worked properly, no issues at all. We loved staying there both because of the lovely home but also because of the location that can't be beat. We all agreed to come back next year!

Perfect

Perfect location, directly across from Lake Michigan, right on the beach. Perfect house, staged and decorated so beautifully when we arrived. The open floor plan and all the windows offer spectacular views from sunrise to sunset. Easily accommodated our large group. Also the downtown was just charming and less than a mile walk. One minor comment, I would’ve like the check-in and check-out times to be more accommodating. Cuts into a quick weekend getaway especially the 10am check-out. It was truly a treat to stay in this beautiful home!

Holiday weekend family getaway

This house is BEAUTIFUL! the pictures don’t do it justice. Though we stayed there during the off season - thanksgiving - the location was perfect. Across the street from the beach, sitting by the windows during the evening, we had the most spectacular views or the sunset over the lake. Plus we are not far from the main downtown area. The rooms were spacious and clean. The kitchen was stocked with every single appliance possible. The sofa beds were not super comfortable - but that’s not unusual for sofa beds. The kids had a great time hanging in the third floor space. All in all, perfect place for a family reunion. In the summer it must be just amazing!

Best house we’ve ever rented

My wife and I booked this home for our ten year anniversary. Everything about this home is luxury 10/10 - we were very lucky with beautiful sunny, warm weather so our favorite place of the entire house was on the upper deck to lay in the sun, listen to music with cocktails, and then watch the absolutely magnificent sunsets each night. Walking into town only took about 15 minutes which was so nice - we enjoyed shopping and dining at Taste. Make sure to stop at Captain Lou’s on the river - very fun outdoor bar vibe! One morning we walked around the corner and bought fresh breakfast pastries from Bunde’s - delicious, but expect long lines! My wife sobbed her eyes out this morning when we checked out because it was the most perfect trip and we were so sad it was over - but so grateful for the opportunity to stay! Hoping to book again next year!

Beautiful Property on a very busy street/intersection

Gorgeous property located on the main beach nestled between a small intersection. If you're looking for a quiet time with a beach view, this is not the property for you. Lots of traffic and cars driving by the house with very loud exhausts/engines. If you're looking for a fun, lively and noisy place on the beach to host a get-together then this is your place! Finally, check out process involved loading the dishwasher, taking all towels to the laundry room and taking out the trash - not something that I expected given that there is a very high cleaning fee...disappointing!

Wonderful Escape

We decided to escape for President’s Day weekend with friends for my nine year old son’s birthday. The house and location are amazing! It is as beautiful as pictured and seemed even bigger than we thought. It was VERY clean and has all the comforts of home. It was a great kitchen to cook in while enjoying the beautiful waves crashing against the snow banks. Our group was 4 adults and 5 kids ages 3-11. The children loved playing outside in the snow and at the nearby playground. There was plenty of room for us all to be together and play games with a cozy fire but you could also find somewhere quiet to read a book. The hot tub and outdoor fireplace were also enjoyed by all! The management company was readily available to assist us with anything we needed and even worked with us to extend our stay one more night due to the recent snowstorm. We cannot wait to return!

Fun with Friends

We are a group of four retired couples who stayed at the Beach Glass Cottage for a long weekend. Even though the weather was rainy with only one sunny day, we had a wonderful time enjoying the beautiful house and stunning views of Lake Michigan. The house has everything you could possibly want. The sheets are soft, the comforters are warm, and the towels are huge. We loved all three fireplaces. Sitting by the one on the third floor deck while grilling out was a joy. Sitting in the hot tub by the fireplace on the second floor deck was relaxing. And we spent much time in the living/gathering room by the first floor fireplace. We had a little problem with the hot tub, and the owner came over and took care of it right away. The walk to the South Haven Lighthouse is beautiful. And the town of South Haven is very quaint. Our whole experience at the Beach Glass Cottage was top rate. We hope to return sometime.

Beach Glass House Gem!

The views of Lake Michigan are breathtaking! Being able to walk out your front door and onto the sandy beach is such a treat! What an amazing property! This home is well appointed with high end furniture in and outside and was exceptionally clean! Kitchen items were organized and easy to find! There is plenty of room for many. We had a bit of a hiccup checking in as had to go to the office for payment verification (although we did make our reservation at the last minute), and then a bit of trouble with the key box which required staff to come and reboot but everyone with the property management company was very helpful, professional and super friendly! While we felt so spoiled with the luxurious accommodations on the second floor, we were a bit disappointed that the bedroom on the main floor didn’t have a closet, tv or ensuite bathroom and unfortunately, not enough lamps. Having said that, it certainly did not change our overall fantastic feeling about this property. We felt very fortunate to have stayed at this gem on The Lake and hope to come back again and again!

Beach front wonder

Post wedding rejuvenation

I was looking for the perfect place, on the water, to spend some relaxing quality time with family after our daughter’s wedding. We couldn’t have picked a better spot! The home is stunning, spotless, and very comfortable. We were blessed with beautiful weather, enjoyed watching the sunset over the water every evening from different locations. The third floor balcony was my favorite place. I enjoyed quiet mornings with a cup of tea each morning on that deck and even took an afternoon snooze up there one day. The town is so beautiful, we rented a golf cart for our stay making it possible for my husband with a bad knee and our older corgi to ride along to town and to site see. We didn’t need our car once we did a grocery shop trip at the beginning. We were able to walk or ride the golf cart on our shopping and restaurant excursions. The home has so much space, with a great open floor plan making it possible to have the whole group together for games, to watch a movie, or just to sit and catch up. If you wanted some quiet and privacy, that was very accessible as well with the home having 3 levels, sitting rooms on each level, bathrooms on all levels, bedrooms on all levels, balconies/porches on all levels, and televisions on all levels. The hot tub on the second level, looking out over the water was fantastic as well. I recommend this space 100%. Hoping for a return trip myself.
