About this property

Saltmarsh Serenity is located on Harbor Island, a gated community just outside of Beaufort, SC that features 2.5 miles of private beach.

The home backs up to the coastal marsh in a quiet and secluded part of the island, but is only minutes to the beach access points by golf cart.

There are 4 bedrooms, each with spacious closets. Three of the bedrooms feature king-sized beds with memory foam mattresses and pillows. The fourth bedroom is designed with kids in mind and features 2, twin-over-twin bunk beds.

The bathrooms both have shower-tub combos and a linen closet stocked with luxury bath towels and bath sheets. In each bathroom you will find a hairdryer so you don't have to take up valuable suitcase space.

The kitchen is stocked with everything needed to prepare your favorite meals, which can be enjoyed at the kitchen table or on the screened-in porch, overlooking the marsh.

Enjoy all of the amenities the island has to offer using the included golf carts.

Rental also includes a pass to enjoy local favorite, Hunting Island State Park.

Rates include parking fee for one vehicle. Renter is responsible for 11% SC Vacation and Lodging Tax

Family time with our Marine

We had a lovely stay here with our son who is stationed at MCAS Beaufort. The house has everything needed for a family stay and I was able to make a few home cooked meals for him. The golf carts made a fun addition to get to the beach.

Clean, well-equipped, and very serene

We enjoyed our brief stay here. Lovely home that the owners obviously care for. Nice little touches like cloths in a bin to wipe off sandy dog feet. The back screened porch is a perfect place for morning coffee and evening drinks. Kitchen is fully equipped and there's plenty of room to stretch out. One suggestion: table lamps in the livingroom would be nice.

A Hidden Gem

This house was clean and organized and perfect for our family with adult kids. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. It is perfect for walks. The owner was very communicative even over a holiday week and patient with our additional questions. We felt this house was worth the money and would recommend it to others.

We stayed for Thanksgiving with extended family. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. Golf carts were a total hit with my grandson. House was as described . Plenty of room on one floor . I do agree with other guests- needs better cleaning services our socks were dirty from the floors along with black fingerprints along doorways. Nonetheless, we had a good time. I can imagine its lovely in the summer with pool, beach, etc. Do not miss the state park and boneyard beach at low tide! The nature center area has a lot of trails. Allow a few days for response from owners and bring bug spray. Ticks were unfortunately horrendous around the community when we were visiting (november). Beware if you bring fido!
