The cottage is located in a wing of a 19th-century Provençal stone farmhouse, built on a 2-hectare property in a beautiful wooded setting 2.5 km from Forcalquier in the Alpes de Haute Provence at an altitude of 600 m.
The owner lives on site and the farmhouse has another cottage, but this will not disturb your peace and quiet.
You will enjoy a separate entrance and a large furnished terrace with a magnificent view of the Luberon mountains and the surrounding countryside.
The spacious and bright living/dining room faces west and includes a well-equipped kitchen and a sitting area with leather sofas.
This room opens onto the west-facing terrace, where you can enjoy barbecues (gas) and admire the wonderful sunsets.
This living room leads to:
A first large bedroom equipped with two beds that can be pushed together (2x80), a closet/wardrobe, and a small chest of drawers. From this bedroom, a wooden staircase leads to a mezzanine with a single bed and a small east-facing window.
A second bedroom with a double bed (160 cm) and a large closet/wardrobe. This bedroom opens onto a private east-facing terrace where you can enjoy your morning coffee.
The bedding is new and the linens provided are of high quality. The cottage has a washing machine and iron. Cleaning products are provided.
The house is heated with a heat pump. If heating is necessary, we will add the electricity consumption.
Internet access is free.
Outside:
You can relax in the garden furniture set up under the trees and enjoy the two hectares of grounds.
Private parking, children's games, and green spaces are at your disposal.
This rental is non-smoking, and pets are not allowed. Tourist tax not included.
