Room was fine, nice view over some hills. At check-in I was handed a phone by a non English speaking person with the property owner on the other end. This is a multi unit property with some longer term tenants as well, it seems.

Nice weekend getaway

We stayed here for a wedding we were attending nearby. The room was simple but very clean and had everything we needed. The location was great - convenient to downtown Hudson.

This property is clean and safe. It is not for those that want sleep- at least not in Room 1. The folks upstairs talked, giggled, moved furniture? Talked , laughed and even kids were up late- little kids talking and playing until 11:30 pm. I had an early morning and told the host this too. I think upstairs was the family. It was annoying and I was exhausted today. I won’t be back. With my two little dogs/ grass was not cut ( granted it’s early) and I always clean up after my dogs. It is pet friendly.

Sorry the guests upstairs made noise. I have a quiet time policy from 10 pm to 8 am. If I am informed that there is noise, I do enforce the policy, but I do need to be informed. Grass is cut, we were just catching uo with that as the spring weather has sprung. Thanks for your visit. Steven

As soon as we pulled into the drive way my truck blew its water pump. Steven the owner of the property was amazing took my husband 3 times to town to get what he need to fix my truck. Room was very clean, quiet, we had a wonderful vacation inspite of my truck, because the owners were so kind, generous people.

Great stay, great host

The house for some reason is listed wrong on Google maps and we got lost. Thankfully our host was very helpful and we found the location thanks to his directions. The space itself is spotless on the inside and the host maximized using his space to the best of his abilities. Whatever I needed the host would always answer and provide in a timely manner. The location is only 10-15 minutes away from beautiful downtown Hudson,NY and other great hiking areas. Also during the summer season, the host claims that berries grow in the back and we can pick them, we definitely will take him up on that offer!

I have my MS and BS degrees in horticulture, bee biology, and international agriculture. I worked teaching vocational agriculture for 15 years and as an extension educator for another 18. I am involved in my own farming and food processing businesses as well as hosting my visitors to the inn.

Why they chose this property

You can enjoy agritourism here since the garden is open in season for you to pick your own fruits and vegetables in season to prepare in your apartment's kitchen. Steven is here to answer your gardening questions. Strawberries are available from June through November and blueberries from July through August.

Rooms are cozy and peaceful, a good place to relax after a day of skiing or parties.
