About this property

Beautiful villa at the river front

Located on the banks of the Meuse, this beautiful villa has been renovated to give you a very pleasant stay. It is particularly well designed for families of 4 to 6 people who want to rest in a neat and comfortable place. Just behind the house, there is direct access to a forest ( nice for children and guests with dogs). Dogs are on request and an additional fee will be asked.
On a large terrace you can enjoy a good barbecue on the full sun on the one hand and relax in the shade in a covered garden salon on the other.
The view of the Meuse/Maas and the passing sailing boats is very relaxing.
Inside you will enjoy high-quality beds. Towels and bedlinnen are optional (15 euro per person)
The room on the floor offers a view of the Meuse as you would think on a boat.
The kitchen is fully equipped and is open to the dining room, very handy for the dishes.
There is a fireplace in the living room, ideal for warming up after a number of beautiful walks.
A small pontoon, a stone's throw from the house, is open to the public.
At 150 meters you can cross a ferry to a place where you can sail, water ski or climb.

Small Villa with lovely views over the Meuse River

We enjoyed our stay at the villa. It is well equipped and the wifi was excellent. The rooms are small and the traffic on the main road noisy during the day. The speed limit is 70 km/h but most people use it as a race track making a lot of noise. It is difficult to back out into the main road. The owner Iris was excellent at keeping us informed and left nice food gifts and flowers which were most appreciated. I would have given the villa five stars if the speed limit was enforced on the road which is no fault of the owner.

A very nice holiday home in a beautiful environment

The holiday home looks very well outside and inside. It is located to the Maas. The road is driven quite fast. With nice weather, boats are passing by. The house is very cosy. The interior of the house is very complete. The reception is exceptional: at the covered terrace there was a bottle of wine with different fruits and nuts. Fruit was also present in the house and there were eggs from own chickens.We enjoyed our stay very much. There are two areas for improvement. A handyman is needed to fix some minor defects. Furthermore, the internet speed is very low.

De accommodatie was heel prettig met een mooi uitzicht. Het ligt dichtbij Dinant en bij het leuke dorpje Waulsort. In andere reviews wordt de drukkere weg voor het huis genoemd, maar daar hebben wij geen last van gehad. Toen wij aankwamen stond er een verse bos bloemen en enkele lekkere versnaperingen op tafel die wij erg waardeerden. Wij zullen nog een keer terugkeren om de omgeving richting Hastière te verkennen.

Super Gegend, tolle Gastgeberin

Unser Wochenende war super! Die Maas ist wunderschön, vor allem jetzt im Herbst. Das Haus war gut, kleine Reparaturen vonnöten hier und da, aber die Gastgeberin macht vieles wett. Super nett, sehr kommunikativ und aufmerksam. Das Einzige, was etwas stört, ist die große Straße (und dann vor allem die lauten Motorräder) direkt vorm Haus. Aber der Ausblick ist trotzdem toll!

Ferien an der Maas

Das Haus war sehr sauber und die Vermieterin hat einen mit Obst,Blumenstrauss,Snacks und einer Flasche Sekt verwöhnt. Leider war der Grill nicht sofort einsatzbereit, da es viel Altfett darin gab und er zu brennen anfing. Die Terrasse war traumhaft mit Blick auf die Maas. Sehr schön zum entspannen. Leider war der Abfluss der Dusche nach 2 Tagen Nutzung verstopft und das Wasser konnte nur sehr langsam abfließen. Im Haus befindet sich im Erdgeschoss eine Überwachungskamera, die zwar laut Vermieterin nicht aktiv ist jedoch ein ungutes Gefühl bleibt. Empfehlung diese im Wohnzimmer abzuhängen. Als Fazit ist die Lage die Aussicht auf die Maas super. Es gibt auch eine Lounge rechts neben dem Eingang, die liebevoll hergerichtet ist. Im ganzen Haus ist sehr schöne Deko und es ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet. In unmittelbarer Nähe gibt es die Rio Bar und in ca 8 Minuten ist man in Dinant.

Kleinod an der Maas

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in Hastière sehr genossen. Nur eine Straße trennt das Haus vom Fluss, das Gebäude ist allseits eingezäunt, hinter dem Haus hat man direkten Zugang zum Wald, dort verläuft eine stillgelegte Bahntrasse. Das Haus selber ist srhr gut ausgestattet und bietet alles, was man benötigt. Die Gastgeberin ist super gastfreundlich und war erkennbar um unser leibliches Wohl bemüht. Wir können die Unterkunft insgesamt sehr empfehlen.
