About this property

Beautiful self-contained lodge in the heart of Weardale

A self-contained log cabin with a separate kitchen/lounge available for holiday let, The Lodge is set in the heart of the Weardale Valley.

The Lodge is located within the boundaries of our home, with its own private garden and access, decking area and access to a Hot Tub to unwind, which is located in a conservatory at the back of the main house with private access.

The Lodge is fully equipped with all modern facilities to make your stay comfortable and relaxing. Set in a small village approximately 300 meters from the River Wear, amongst the beautiful rolling hills of the Northern Pennines. Easily accessible by road to Durham, Newcastle, Hexham and Darlington, and equally accessible to outdoor adventurers and explorers alike.

Our cleaning policy is a 3 stage regime, to replace, clean and disinfect based upon guidance provided by the WHO and local government recommendations.

Without shadow of a doubt this is a 10/10 rated hidden gem owners are all amazing and friendly people made us feel very welcome and i will 100% be booking again anyone looking for some where to switch off and unplug from the norm then i would suggest paying this wonderful place a visit

Perfectly quaint....
Booked a quick couple of nights away in this perfect, friendly lodge, everything you need has been covered(even down to the ice cubes in the freezer, great little touch👍) great base for walks nearby but only one village pub for socialising, so hop on bus into Woolsingham couple of pubs.....and recommend the club👍👍👍(just ask Emma and Lee the host's 🍻👍) very helpful host's not bothering you but there to help with any problems 👍 100% recommend this perfect little lodge if like us your a lover of the Dales.....
