This is the right place if you’re looking for a beautiful quiet setting to relax in. A beautiful pool, palm trees and sunrises over the very wide intracoastal add to the tropical feel. The owners make you feel at home and are always ready to help when needed.
From the welcoming pineapple to engaging conversation our host made us feel relaxed and invited.
The accomidations are quaint with plenty of room outside to relax by the pool or take an afternoon nap in the hammock stung up between two royal palm trees.
Can't say enough. You won't be disappointed!
We truly enjoyed our stay. Nancy and Jerry are amazing hosts. The guest house was well appointed with everything we needed. We loved sitting on the dock and swimming in the pool. Beaches and downtown restaurants were an easy jaunt from the property. We are looking forward to a return visit in the future.
We had a wonderful getaway at Nancy’s and Jerry’s place. The guesthouse was clean and had everything we needed. They were great hosts and were available if needed. The view from their dock was amazing. It was quiet and serene. We look forward to staying at their property again.
We enjoyed our stay tremendously at the guest cottage on Indian River Drive. It is small, but the outdoor amenities make it feel much more spacious. The hosts were very accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. The efficiency is well stocked with drip coffee maker, cookware, blankets, beach chairs. We will definitely be back and would recommend to our friends.
Nancy and Jerry are attentive, warm and friendly hosts! Their guest cottage was private and the dock gave us access to the Indian river and was ideal for an evening glass of wine. We were able to catch fish right off the dock!! Bonus we saw manatees too!
It was ideal for us and our golden retriever. Ellie enjoyed the space and freedom of the beautiful yard.
We would love to return some day!
Quiet. Beautiful grounds. Nice wharf out to the Intercoastal Waterway. Peaceful. No TV in the bedroom. My wife was very happy about that! Queen sized bed. Short drive to shopping and dining. 5-10 minutes to everything. Near beaches. Great hosts. Would definitely return for a nice vacation spot. A little cool to use the beautiful pool and spa. Perfect place.

The kitchen was really small and because of the lack of storage space it was not stocked very well. There is no dishwasher, so you have to wash dishes by hand. The dish drying rack was a rusted metal rack that didn't hold many dishes and if you didn't stack them right, the dishes came crashing down. The microwave's display didn't work so you couldn't tell how much time was left to cook. The shower was about 3'x3'. If you are taller than 5'6", you'll probably have to duck to get your head under the shower head. There is no vent in the bathroom. The futon couch is very uncomfortable, but that is the only place to sit if you want to watch television. The house was clean, but it had a stale odor to it. I burned the provided candles the first week that we were there to try to mask the smell. The owners were nice, but you're living in their backyard, so there's a lack of privacy. You have to open and close a large heavy gate to get your car to the back of the property. There is no view from the rental house. The Indian River is across the street and that has a nice view. There is a pier that goes out over the river and there are some chairs to sit on at the end of the pier. There is also a 10-20 foot area where the handrail is broken on the pier, so you have to walk past that. The town of Fort Pierce was really nice and has a good variety of restaurants. The harbor area is a nice area to walk around. The beaches were clean and most had showers/restrooms.
Gracious host, wonderful location!! Will return anytime in the area. The cottage is quaint and quiet, providing everything I needed. So comfortable, left me feeling right at home.
The owners, Nancy and Jerry, greeted us with a warm welcome the moment we arrived. Our stay of 3 weeks only got better while we were there. They are super friendly, polite, and very service oriented. The unit is well equipped, clean, comfortable and cozy. They have a large fenced yard that was perfect for our dog and a beautiful pool that we really enjoyed. As an added bonus, we were treated w/beautiful sunrises over the Indian River - the inter-coastal waterway. Nice restaurants and lovely beaches are a short drive away.
We had a fabulous time in Fort Pierce. Nancy and Gerry were wonderful hosts. They responded quickly to all our needs. The bed was extremely comfortable, lots of hot water and the shower was great. The location couldn’t be better. Close to town and botanical garden, beaches and many places to walk. Beautiful yard for our dog to run around too. Total privacy out back. There was a beautiful pool but unfortunately it was too cool for us to use. We highly recommend this place. You’ll love it!
They went out of their way to make everyrhing special....super sweet and kind....sadly, we had to leave early but we coyld not say more positives. They had lots of games, privacy, super clean, quiet, loved ft pierce restaurants , etc etc. We lucked out for sure.
Perfect! My days started with sunrise on the dock and ended with relaxing under festive colored lights on the patio - the perfect antidote to days spent shopping in the bonkers Florida real estate market. Gerald and Nancy were warm and welcoming. I enjoyed learning about the history of the property and how they came to be there. I wished I'd packed a bathing suit for the pool. Slept great!
Beautiful piece of land. beautiful historic Treasure Coast Home. If there are any issues, the owners will take care of it promptly and kindly. Make sure to explore out back in the natural scrub!
