Get Away from it all and relax in the country!

Beautiful One Bedroom ( this is one bedroom w/ a private bathroom) in the country ( Gated Property )with antique bed and dresser, coffee maker, hair dryer, shampoo, body wash, soap, free Wi-Fi, and expanded cable channels. The swimming pool is closing Oct 7, 2023. The hot tub is open daily from 10 AM until 11 PM. We have a Pellet Grill/Smoker for a small fee for the pellets(avg $10 ) Located near hiking, fishing, and sightseeing. Local history includes train rides, railroad museum and the Lost Sea. In close proximity to Athens, Tellico Plains, Cleveland, Chattanooga, and Knoxville as well as others.

Dave and BJ are truly some of the kindest people we’ve ever met. They were warm, generous, and communicated so well throughout our stay, making us feel completely at home. We had such a wonderful time. The house is absolutely charming, the hot tub was sparkling clean, and the spacious lot gave us plenty of room for all kinds of fun. The gas fire pit kept us cozy in the evenings, and the sunsets were a showstopper every single night, each one different and absolutely breathtaking. Thank you, Dave and BJ, for helping us create such special memories!

Our family stayed here on a short vacation to visit my extended family in Tennessee. The listing looked amazing and with the pool and hot tub we hoped to be able to visit and enjoy the amenities with family. The mgr said that we could have our family over to visit and use the pool. ( I verified this beforehand bc we had nowhere else to visit if they couldn't come to the property and chose this place specifically for the pool and hot tub) Upon arrival, we noticed it was in a gorgeous setting. However, the managers live on site, which was not clear in the post. And they were around quite a bit. There is also another apt in the same building ( house). In addition, this rental does not have 1.5 baths as listed. There is one bathroom. There is a full size bed but not a " bedroom". It is a studio apt . There is no room to have visitors. But, it is a very cute apt and great for a couple.The pool area is not exactly as pictured in the post. It could use some cleaning/maintenance. It was enjoyable for the kids though.

Great relaxing stay near train ride and white water rafting

birthday weekend

My husband took our daughter for her 7th birthday, they had a great time. The owners very kindly let her have extra swimming time in the pool. It was the highlight of her weekend. Great quiet, clean place to stay.

Excellent Property, Host, and Location

Perfect place for my husband and I to stay while we attended a nearby wedding. Coffee and Tea was a plus, very cozy room with comfortable bed. Superb Hot tub was amazing to relax after long day and pool was refreshing. Price was so affordable and worth every single penny. Highly recommend this to anyone. Will definitely be back! Thank you for such a wonderful stay! PS, my husband was not happy about my booking until we got there and then he gave me a compliment for finding such a wonderful place!

-I left a day early because had allergic reaction to mildew, heavy dust and dampness in the room - In all fairness, I did not contact the owners about the issues until after I left, I felt too ill physically, The one time I spoke to owners, they were very nice & personable. - Bathroom: The entire commode rocked back and forth while sitting on it; when the lever to start the shower was pulled, it caused the faucet in the tub to pull away from the shower wall. - Small Fridge: I did not use it because it was not clean (crumbs in it and what looked like dead gnats.) The freezer part of it needed defrosting. -Bedside table drawers and antique dresser drawers: I left my clothes in my suitcase because the drawers looked dirty and had no liners. -Hot Tub: Nice and hot. Good jets but smelled heavily like mildew and caused my legs to itch and sting. -Bed: Nice quilt and linens and would have been very comfy but the quilt & linens always felt damp. -Air Conditioner: Cold air but had dirty filters in it. - Ink lines on couple of walls like small child’s drawing/writing.

Great place to stay😊

Dana and Lisa were very nice people. Lisa greeted us when we arrived. She told us if we need anything.just knock on their door. Very quiet area. Would definitely stay again and tell others about the property. My husband and I were visiting our daughter and they were able to come over and use the beautiful pool. Also has a nice hot tub, which we were in every night. Very well lit at night, gate that closes on the property and locks protected by codes, so it’s a very safe place to stay! Thank you to Dana and Lisa for their hospitality 😊 Will definitely stay again in the future!!!!!

Perfect getaway for 2

Dana and Lisa provided a perfect place for me and my daughter to stay. Lisa recommended several outdoor activities and good restaurants to visit in the area that were above and beyond what we had planned. It was also nice to come back and soak in the hot tub to wind down our evening. We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

Lovely place to overnight

Lisa and Harry were very friendly and communicated all needed information. The room was nice, with medium sized refrigerator and microwave.

Love the hot tub

We booked the ROOM only listing but when we arrived Lisa showed us the larger unit which we liked better so we switched. Very quite neighborhood several miles off Hwy 411. Bed was comfy. Only complaint was the toilet needs to be tightened down.

Absolutely fantastic!

They are the definition of sweet southern hospitality! The owners were so kind and polite it made my fiance and I feel right at home. Although we were too busy to use the pool or hottub, the room was so cozy and sweet we loved it there!

Perfect spot

This was a perfect place for a weekend in the Tennessee mountains. Nice hiking and rafting and wonderful views. The owners were very helpful and easy to get in touch with. Will definitely be back this summer

We live in a rural area close to many things to do and see. We have 3 children and 9 grandchildren. We look forward to meeting you!

Why they chose this property

The bedroom is located in the basement of our home with its own private entrance. The swimming pool is now open and the hot tub is open as well. Their hours are 10 AM to 11 PM daily. This is a working home. We have chickens and we sell eggs from our home.
