The photos of the pool area were exactly how we found it! It was beautiful! One of the nicest resorts I've stayed in! Was even worried because I was told I had a JR Suite and it was plenty large enough for 3 girls on our girls trip!
Checking in was not the easiest. Signage is not clear on where to go. Our room was over 2 hours late. Then we had screaming kids banging doors next door/ which is not the resorts fault. However I might suggest families with kids stay closer to family pool. That might help with noise reduction.
The resort was a lot of fun and the pool was amazing. Check in was great and they were not pushy on the time share. We will definitely be staying here again.
My family and I enjoyed a wonderful staycation here at Cibola! Lots of fun in the sun, pool slide, tennis, and pickle ball! The room and resort were super clean. We’ll definitely be back.
Wonderful property. It was clean, easy to check in, and great pool. I never was asked to take a tour or any pushy sales people at check-in. I had a wonderful experience.
We have stayed at this property for 3 years now. Love the location to what we had planned and close to our family. Enjoyed the pools and bars and food truck. They take really good care of the outside of this property; landscaping and grounds are very well groomed. They are in the process of painting and updating. Would highly recommend this place.
Lovely place. Host and staff were very helpful and friendly. Beautiful grounds and much to do on the property. Wish there was a restaurant, The food at the food truck had good food. Liked that there was an adult pool with a bar and great happy hour prices.
My only complaint is the Wi-Fi service was weak in the room and to make a phone call for private calls, we had to stand outside, which isn’t fun when having to do so in the heat.
Other than that, we had a great stay.
This was a great spot for a quick family vacation to relax and catch a little pool time. For the kiddos, there’s a great pool slide and tons of outdoor fun provided by the resort. Obviously, on weekends it will be more crowded as expected. There’s a great selection of food/beverage on the resort and near by.No complaints as far as the stay, cleanliness or the resort staff, everything was great. The only negative thing (if I had to say anything) would be at check in. At the registration desk they send you “around the corner” to pick up your parking pass and resort wrist bands where you’re asked/invited to attend an info session to learn about becoming a time share holder and earning X, Y, Z for attending. I’m the worst at saying no, so I own that. Good thing I had someone with me that was able to say no a few times and we were able to move along and begin our stay…..which was GREAT!

1 week there was enough
Did not know I had to attend a time share seminar. Had I known, I would not have rented the place. Took 2 minutes to get hot water in the shower and sink.
We were NOT pleased to be barraged to "sign up for a two hour presentation and we'll give you free things!" We had to refuse to be scheduled, refuse to sign up for emails/texts/calls and eventually just call this lady to tell her NO We're Not Interested ... where she harrangued my wife AGAIN on the phone trying to convince her. Srsly. No, Means No.
Other than this one annoying thing (that happened daily with room phone calls, cell phone calls and even a note attached to our DOOR) the place was beautiful. The room was great, but tiny cleanliness details stood out. We could see the swipes at the mirror and all the crud under beds and nightstands was there. Even hotels don't get all those details.
The booking and quality of this property was wonderful. We have stayed at this property in the past and the comfort of the stay and the the cleanliness is top notch. The only downfalls, which is no reflection of the booker but something to be aware of, is that this property is a timeshare and after check-in they sent us to the "concierge" to get our parking pass where we were very aggressively tried to be sold on going on a time share tour. When we've stayed here in times past we checked in after hours which I would suggest if you want to avoid their strong sales tactics. They also called our room at 8am(sleeping baby...come on!) to...again...try and get us to go on a timeshare presentation. Lastly the walls were pretty thin and our neighbors who shared a wall with our bed were extremely loud at 6am and again at midnight talking which we had to knock on the wall to get them to quiet down since it was odd hours when we were trying to sleep.
Other than those little issues, the property is centrally located, has wonderful and plentiful amenities both in the rooms and on the property. There are a lot of shopping and restaurants in close proximity to the resort. The communication with this booking was quick and easy and I would absolutely book here again.
We love staying at Cibola Vista when we are visiting my son and his family. I couldn't find a reservation for our dates. Went through Vrbo and experienced a flawless stay. Will definitely book thu Vrbo again!
