We are delighted to welcome you at “Cretan Lodge” in Vathi a neighborhood just 6,5km from Agios Nikolaos Town, which is surrounded by green fields and Olive groves, set in the north east part of the island, just 300 m away from the famous Daios beach.
Cretan Lodge is designed with comfort and taste, using standards and a blend of the traditional Cretan architecture.
Cretan decor bringing you maximum peace and tranquility with it' s clean lines.
Over a Glass of fine Cretan wine capture the light that has inspired poets and painters from the comfort of your own terrace.
The philosophy of our house is to share the same passion for excellence with one goal: ensure that our guests feel at home, away from home, and help make their stay memorable.

Wonderful stay with the family

We enjoyed our stay, in this house with a beautiful yard and very convenient location close to the beach. We stayed in early April, but we could still use the pool. The outdoor areas are very nice, and there are several seating areas.

Tipical cretan house

Very nice typical cretane house with a beautiful garden in a quite place. The host is very kind. He waited for us very late (1am) and bought us everything for our breakfast.

Island Retreat

This house was perfect for our family as we wanted a quiet retreat with a close location to the beach. The mother of the property owner lives next door and is always available to help. She also delivered fresh chicken eggs everyday for us to make for breakfast. It was an amazing experience and I will return to this place.

Lovely place for a family

There was an issue with the pool at the Cretan Lodge prior to our arrival, our hosts contacted us a few days before and asked if Canes Villa would be ok as a substitute as they recognized the importance of a pool for the kids. We were very happy with the location. It was very easy to get to all of the areas we had planned to visit while in thay region of Crete. We only used the main house as we were a family of 4 travelling with small children, but if travelling with a larger group or 2 families Canes Villa would be perfectly.

Das Haus war sehr gemütlich und bietet genügend platz für 4Personen. Neben dem Haus wohnt die Mutter des Vermieters, welche sehr aufmerkasam und super freundlich war!!

Très bon séjour. La maison est bien équipée et la piscine et la balançoire sont un vrai plus pour les enfants.

Jolie maison bien aménagée avec beau jardin et piscine. Proche d’Agios et de jolies plages

La maison est conforme à l’annonce et même plus! Très joliment décorée, fonctionnelle, avec de bonnes literies. La piscine est très agréable et le jardin très joli avec de nombreux oliviers. Belles terrasses. L’hôte et sa famille sont extraordinaires !! Avec la gentillesse et l’accueil crétois. Nous recommandons vivement cette location où nous avons passé d’excellentes vacances!
