The space This special historic home on Main St. It is the oldest brick building left in the city. It was built by Parlee Carlin in 1834 to house his wife and nine children. Mr. Carlin was an early settler and a merchant. The striking 1886 Hancock County Courthouse is fully visible from the flat’s original eight-foot living room windows. In addition, the renowned Marathon Center for the Performing Arts and the library are just around the corner. The University of Findlay lies a short one mile to the north on Main Street. Lovers of fine wood are in for a treat. The flat retains its rare, museum quality Heart Pine floors. They have been restored and glow as beautifully as they did when installed in 1834. The owner is proud of this property and easily accessible. We hope you enjoy this glimpse into early 19th century living quarters.

Nice place, very cute, right in the center of town.
Kitchen well equipped.
Manager responsive; didn't post access credentials online, had to call at check in, took a few attempts.
Internet is rough ~6 Mb/s.
Windows hardly keep any sound out, I imagine they wouldn't keep very warm in the winter.
Would come back.
We were in for The Solheim Cup. This flat was the perfect place to stay to get away from all the crowds. The flat was beautifully decorated, clean, and comfortable. We had a very relaxing stay.
We loved the property as it fit our needs perfectly. Being right downtown was amazing and was very walkable even in the late evening. We did not get check in information until the day of the stay and after asking but the host responded promptly. We generally have information about what we need to do to check out and this time we did not. I'd suggest a checklist or general information from the host. We just did what we have done in other VRBO rentals and hope it was good. We would stay here again for sure!
