Unique things about this home:
The sunrises. About 15 minutes before the sun comes up the sky turns amazing shades of blue, pink, orange and yellow. Just open the slider in the kitchen and you can’t miss it.
The evening sky is also not to be left out. You can see it just off the front porch.
Upstairs, from the master bedroom, there are views of the Boulder Flatirons, the famous three mountain tops above NCAR (The National Center for Atmospheric Research) in Boulder. The tall, usually snow-capped peaks in the distance to the north are Mount Meeker and Longs Peak- a popular Colorado fourteener.
On calm mornings during the warm months you can often spot hot air balloons in the sky to the east. They launch all over Erie as it is the Front Range’s most popular hot air balloon adventure destination.

This was an excellent location for our family. Easy to get around and tour the area. The place was clean, and communication with the host was terrific. The beds were super comfortable. Would rent again when in the area.
Every area is well equipped and comforting. The patio was great. There is plenty of room to have discussions and socialization and private areas for solitude. The bathrooms are well equipped and spacious.
Very spacious and comfortable home. It is well maintained in a quiet neighborhood, very family friendly The home has a well supplied kitchen, as well as bathrooms. All the bedrooms are very comfortable. Highly recommend.
Perfect location for us. Spotless clean. Had everything we needed and more. Had enough beds for us to spread out. Comfortable beds. Loved being able to wash clothes!
Lovely stay in a lovely home! It was cozy and had plenty of space for our family to roam. There was a brief power outage in the neighborhood and Holly was quick to respond and keep us informed of any updates. My one suggestion is to consider upgrading the chairs at the coffee table, as they are starting to look really worn down. All in all, I would happily stay here again!
If you're looking for a very clean, well appointed house with easy communication and check in/check out, this is a great rental. This house was the perfect launching off point for all the many things to enjoy in the area.
Had a group of 5 adults stay here over a long weekend for a friends wedding. Wonderful home and plenty of space for us to be together and also have our own space. House is in a nice neighborhood and backs up to and open space. I would stay here again if we have a group going.
Our family (10 of us) met in Erie for Thanksgiving. There is a lot to do in the area and my grandson did a campus visit at the university. The house was very comfortable for 8 adults and 2 kids. Having 4 bathrooms was a huge plus. The kids loved playing both pool and ping pong
The house was exactly as advertised, and the location was perfect for everything that we wanted to do in Boulder/Denver area. We had nine family members and everyone had their space, yet great areas to hang out together.
The owner was very responsive and easy to communicate with.
Beautiful home and great location!!!
House was very large and roomie. The pool table makes a ping pong table. There were not curtainss in a good bit of the bedrooms which led to kids geting up super early. Also the master had a window without curtians. The dishwasher utensil basket was broken so couldn't wash utensils easily. Air conditioner was preset programmed and we couldnt get the house to cool off really. Great quiet neighborhood, close to everything.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We always appreciate hearing from our guests, as it helps us continue to improve the experience.
To clarify a few points for future guests: all bedrooms are equipped with window shades, and the primary bedroom has curtains on each window, including a blackout curtain. The dishwasher utensil basket has since been replaced, and the air conditioner is not preset — guests are welcome to select their preferred temperature directly on the thermostat at any time.
We’re committed to providing a comfortable, well-equipped stay and appreciate the opportunity to address these items. Thank you again for staying with us.
Warm regards, Holly
The hosts were great- helpful and quick to respond to any question. The house is a good size for large groups and having a pool table and ping pong was really nice for all ages. Might be nice if there were a few true games like scrabble or backgammon,. The only other “improvement” is the living room furniture is poorly arranged and they ask that you don’t move it. But those are small complaints. We would go back and had a lovely time

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’ve now added more seating in the living room and arranged the furniture for optimal enjoyment and comfort. We appreciate your feedback!
Two families - 9 people stayed for 5 nights. Lovely house, clean and safe. Really weird light switches - never could figure out the reason for all the switches - they don't seem to control any lights. Plumbing is POOR - all sink drains back up -- need to be plunged or professionally cleaned. It could be a serious problem with the vent stack system behind the walls - no air to push out the water so it back up. This is a construction flaw if true - very expensive to fix. Could just be something simple as clogged drains that need DRANO or LIQUID PLUMBER or the p-traps under all the sinks need to be cleaned. Toilets run slow - do not overflow but run very slow. I think this is a plumbing issue not a simple clogged drain.

Thank you for the five star review Michael! With regard to the lights, there are two sets of lights in the house on three way switches so that where ever you are, at the bottom or top of stairs, or down the hallway, you can control the lights. Same thing for the bathroom on the main level; you can turn the main light on in two different places. And in the basement there are many lights to create ambiance in the different rooms, which all have their own switch. As far as the plumbing goes, the toilets are "slow flow" to reduce the amount of water used, and we recently swapped out all the supply lines in every bathroom (and the sinks in the kitchens upstairs and downstairs) with upgraded plumbing lines. We are very sorry you didn't have a good experience with the lights or plumbing, and we will be double checking drains are not clogged and address that right away. Thank you for that feedback!

What makes this property unique
Unique things about this home:
The sunrises. About 15 minutes before the sun comes up the sky turns amazing shades of blue, pink, orange and yellow. Just open the slider in the kitchen and you can’t miss it.
The house has a mountain theme, and the knobs and pulls on the cabinets are hand-carved from shed deer antlers.
The evening sky is also not to be left out. You can see it just off the front porch.
Upstairs, from the master bedroom, there are views of the Boulder Flatirons, the famous three mountain tops above NCAR (The National Center for Atmospheric Research) in Boulder. Unique to Colorado The mountains are always west. If you get lost, remember that the mountains are west.
We have a saying here. If you don’t like the weather, wait five minutes.
Denver is one mile above sea level. That’s why it’s known as the Mile-High City.
Things to Do Besides Boulder, Denver, and the Rocky Mountains, here are a couple local spots to the house and Erie.
Thomas Reservoir About a 15 minutes walk (or a 2 minute drive), there’s a reservoir with a walking/running trail around it, picnic tables, and a flower garden! You can also fish there.
The Erie Community Center Workout facilities, indoor heated pool with a gigantic slide and lazy river, and tennis courts across the street caddy corner to the northeast at Austin and Erie Parkway.
