We had the most delightful stay at Casa Florence! Michelle has thoughtfully provided for everything one could need; the house is immaculately clean and beautifully appointed. We are already looking forward to our next visit.
The house was in a great loaction in West Seattle close to Alki Beach. It has stunning views and was a comfortable home base for our visit. Things to note: there are a lot of stairs, but it certainly is worth it. The parking was plentiful (and as someone who usually visits Seattle yearly, this is important) and always right in front of the house. Everything in the house was clearly labeled to help find items. It is one of the best-stocked homes that I have stayed at. Coffee, toilet paper, slippers, hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner, and plenty of towels and washcloths. I even sent a last-minute request which was graciously accommodated, even though we did not end up needing it. Kudos to Michelle and her attention to detail in all the right ways!
This is a great property in such a charming neighborhood! We were within walking distance to the bay and some restaurants. We felt very safe in the area. The drive into downtown Seattle was less 15 minutes, depending on traffic. We also took the nearby water taxi into the city one day (very affordable). We would definitely stay here again!
Casa Florence has amazing views of Puget Sound! Neighborhood is a desireable quiet area of West Seattle. The owners take care of all the details and communications are great. The large yard is a nice plus and the patio is great for sitting with a beverage and watching the ferries.
The property is perfectly located in West Seattle, with stunning views as advertised. We accessed the property easily, as the directions were clear. When we visited in August, the house smelled very musty, like it had been closed up for a long time. Because of the age of the house, there was no central air, which makes sense. It was a warm summer week, so the AC was spotty at best. There are also quite a few sets of stairs, which should be noted for those who are mobility challenged. The bed was very noisy too, like an old box spring set.
This was the perfect relaxing getaway to enjoy West Seattle - Incredible views, beautiful home, very lovely neighborhood to walk in. The host went above and beyond and was super gracious. It was such a treat to enjoy time in this charming home.

Although the view was spectacular, I would have given it up for comfortable beds and furniture. I would not stay again. The pictures and descriptions did not specify that the twin beds were trundles which did not work for one of our older and taller kids.
Nicely appointed and very comfortable for a 3 nights stay. Quiet location with a notable view of the water.Would certainly consider staying here again when we visit relatives in the area.
