Starfish House is a comfortable house near the beach in Yachats. Located in the city of Yachats, just walking distance from down town shops, restaurants, and the Adobe Resort. There is room for the entire family with plenty of games for those rainy days. Garage is converted to a game room with ping pong, darts, and a foosball table. High speed internet access is available. Outside you will find a beautifully gardened yard with a hammock for relaxing, a charcoal BBQ and lawn furniture.

Excellent home! Location was perfect steps to the ocean and town. The home was very well furnished and comfortable. Everything we needed was available in the kitchen. The beds were so comfortable. Nice added touch of standing fans around the home for airflow. The hot tub was wonderful along with the privacy of the yard. Would definitely consider staying here again.

Perfect Yachats Getaway

Very clean, great location, all the necessities we needed for a relaxing beach getaway. The hot tub was hot and clean! We loved our walks along the ocean each day! Beds could have been a bit more comfortable but overall this was one of the best rentals we have stayed in on the Oregon coast over the past 20 + years! Highly recommend. :)

We loved walking to the ocean to see the beautiful sunset. Nice clean place with 2 bedroom, and a bonus room. Work for the twins... We would stay here again. Thank-you

Cute House with a View

We enjoyed our stay. House is super cute and pretty clean overall. The beds were really comfortable as were the couches in the living room. Lots of seating and an extra large dining table. Kitchen is a tad small but very well equipped. We appreciated having a washer and dryer and we all loved the game room in the garage and the hot tub. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend to families and older adults.

We walked to town, to the market, the 804, to the beach...As others report,the home, hot tub and pretty, private yard is impeccably clean and very well maintained. One thing to note - to get from the main living area to the lovely, light and spacious primary bedroom, you must go through another bedroom, or use an exterior passage. Kitchen is extremely well equipped, with plenty of tableware and lots of unexpected extras. Overall, it was a very good rental - we were comfortable and had a great time! As usual, Ocean Odyssey (property managers) was great to deal with, thoughtful, profession and responsive - great folks!

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay the house. The back yard fire pit and hot tub was the highlight for us. Ample parking and easy to find. The kitchen was well organized and the living room comfortable(albeit a very dirty and stained couch). We would prefer it to have been a bit cleaner, but the washing machine and dryer made it possible to clean the dirty comforters on the beds (they smelled very bad on arrival) and we put clean bed sheets over the couches. We had to buy our own detergent, paper towels, toilet paper, which we did not find out until the check in information was provided the day before arriving. The kitchen had a hodge podge of leftovers from previous guests(spices, foil, ziplocs), which was helpful. There's a dollar store around the corner so it was easy to find small essentials when needed. There's also a key to the house instead of a numbered keypad, which meant carrying the keys and worrying about losing them. It's the first time in a long time we've stayed somewhere requiring a physical key to enter a rental house. The managing company was friendly, but not particularly responsive. We had a bunch of ants visit in the kitchen the second to last night of our stay. There's a long list of to-do's before checking out. One that stood out was requiring us to launder & DRY all the towels PRIOR to checking out. That was a new one for us...

We were a bit thrown to discover that you must walk thru one bedroom to get to the master bedroom. We also found some dishes were put away but had not been cleaned, floors needed cleaning, and my daughter pulled her sheets off to wash due to dog hair. It is a nice quiet neighborhood with great access to 801 trail.

Dining table sits up to 10, plus stools and tables for 4, if needed. Could see the sunset over the ocean from inside the house every night. It would be nice to have the outside furniture cleaned--it would have required quite a bit of work to make it usable (and access to a hose and faucet is somewhat a mystery).

It was steps from the beach and everything the town has to offer as well as close to gorgeous hiking and beach trails. The house was equipped with a hot tub and a game room. The sleeping and living spaces were comfortable and spacious. I would definitely rent with them again.
