We stayed here to ring the new year in and we had a great time! House is as-pictured in the pictures. Marcus was a great host...he is very responsive and checked in to make sure we settled in the house ok. Highly recommend for groups!
A really fabulous 7 bedroom inn. Every room a double and en suite. Really beautiful grounds and flowers. Incredible indoor and outdoor congregating spaces. Gorgeous pool. Exceeded expectations. Bravo!
The HOUSE is very nice however when we arrived it had not been cleaned from the previous occupants. There were dirty dishes in the sink and five bedrooms had been slept in, dirty sheets, Dirty towels in the bathroom, trash hadn’t been taken out, trash on the countertops etc. It was pretty gross cleaning this all up ourselves as we were told that they could not have a cleaning crew there until the following day. Management offered us $100 for a bottle of wine which was extremely weak. When you pay for luxury accommodations you expect luxury accommodations. This was supposed to be a treat for my staff and we ended up having to work and clean up the house.
Really enjoyed the house. All the bedrooms were very comfortable and had their own private bathroom. Great kitchen and outside sitting area. Would definitely recommend.
We celebrated my mom’s 70th birthday. The house layout was so nice since we all had our own rooms/bathrooms. The kitchen was fully stocked with serveware and cookware. We had a great time here.
Excellent group-friendly place for executive teams to collaborate & socialize
Beautiful space with 7 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, beautiful living room, den area and formal dining area with a powder room adjacent to the kitchen. Our executive team had a highly productive environment to create our strategic plan. There was sufficient space for a group of 14 to gather as well as space for 3 teams for break out sessions. Our team enjoyed the professional kitchen where we cooked together daily, worked hard together and enjoyed the beautiful views. The hot tub was inviting and the pool is beautiful. Excellent outdoor gathering couch space on the deck, an outdoor eating area for 14 and a deck with incredible views of the valley with an cool telescope & great sculpture! There was plenty of space We found some great places to walk and hike. Most excellent vineyards and top notch restaurants in the neighborhood for take-out or dinners outside the home. Great outdoor grill when we wanted to dine at the house. Our company used this house once before and we enjoyed it more this second time! My team cannot wait to return for our strategic planning in May! Thank you to Marcus, a great easy to work with host.
This property was perfect for our friend group. We each had our own room with en-suite bathroom. We had two small inquiries to the owner who responded promptly. We would definitely stay here again.
House was comfortable, unique and surpassed our expectations. Very convenient location to downtown Calistoga as well as Napa & Sonoma wineries. Enjoyed by every member of our family.
However, infrastructure needs attention. For example, all sinks drain run slowly, the hot water is hit and miss. In addition, the pool area could benefit from a trash can.
Headed to wine country? It doesn't get better than this place in Calistoga
What a stunning property - 7 luxurious bedrooms, each with its own ultra modern bathroom & a powder room in the common area . Excellent areas outdoors to celebrate with friends & family. A lovely deck out front to overlook the beautiful gardens with incredible views of the valley & mountain complete with a telescope. Great wrap around deck to be outside and a table that fit our whole group. Pretty water fixture and firepit to make smores or just relax! Go one more level up to find a refreshing but warm enough pool & hot tub. Plenty of room to exercise and play. The kitchen is ideal - everything you need & plenty of room for everyone to pitch in on cooking. Incredible professional stove, fridge, freezer & dishwasher plus a separate wine fridge for the excellent wine from the neighborhood!
Minutes away from Calistoga and a short ride to St. Helena, you'll find extraordinary cuisine of all kinds!
We loved every aspect of our stay! Our host made everything easy from booking to checking in and making sure everything met with our satisfaction.
What a slice of heaven!
You're in for a real treat if you stay at this place!
Enjoy!
We had a wonderful time! The property is beautiful. The rooms are spacious and bathrooms are all very nice. The property is kept in great shape. Commercial grade kitchen was perfect for cooking for a group. We were only a ten minute walk to down town for coffee in the morning, the children enjoyed playing at pioneer park. Pool area is perfect for a relaxing get away! The water wasn’t warm yet when we went (end of April) but I’m sure it heats up great in the summer. We would love to stay again.
We loved our stay. The house is amazing. We will stay here again.

Disappointing
If you’re not renting the house between mid-April through October, don’t expect to use the pool. When is mid-April you might ask? No one really knows! I thought April 5-8 was close enough to “mid-April” and I even confirmed with the host that the pool was heated since the pool was the main reason why I rented the house in the first place. However, when we arrived the pool was freezing. Not sure how solar heating system works but the pool was unusable. When Ivtried to get some answers from the host, he wouldn’t give a straightforward answer. Instead he kept repeating himself over and over again that the pool was only heated from mid-April through October. It was extremely frustrating.
The refrigerator was not working properly. It was not cold enough and the ice kept melting onto our food. We contacted the host about this and no one came by to fix it.
For the price we paid for the house, we expected better service.

No Hot Water
We were there for the weekend with our pod, which included several families. The property is beautiful, but we had no hot water while we were there (the water heater broke).
The phone number provided reaches a customer service person outside of the US, so they were fairly removed and behind the situation as it unfolded. The owner of the house wasn't aware of the situation all weekend.
No one could take showers, and we had several babies, so we had to boil water to make hot bottles.
Once we got in touch with the owner, he took several weeks to get back to us. He gave us a small discount. Considering we spent over $7k for the weekend and didn't have basic services, this was disappointing.
Aside from that issue, the grounds aren't great for small children. The heating in the house is a single heating unit, meaning the bottom floor is about 61 degrees, while the third floor is about 85.
I would not recommend this rental.
We had the best time renting the home which was for an MBA cohort retreat. The home was beautiful, the pool was fantastic, and short waking distance from downtown Calistoga. We wanted to spend as much time as possible at the house given how nice it was! We have all talked about booking it again very soon.
Property and house was perfect for our moms get away! We loved it! Only thing I would have liked is coffee for the morning to be left at the house with instructions to use the coffee pot. Everything was wonderful!!!!!
