We rent this amazing home to only one family or group at a time. No matter how many rooms you rent, your party will be the only guests present. This is a private rental.

It sleeps 4-12 guests very comfortably. The VRBO quoted rate is based on a 4 suite occupancy. For your exact nightly rate, please let us know how many bedrooms you will need and we will provide you with a quote right away!
Additional information regarding rates for stays less than 7 days can be found in the ‘notes’ section under AVAILABILITY or contact us and we will be happy to provide a timely quote based on the number of suites required.

Designed by the renowned Spanish Architect, Eduardo Ocampo. Castillo Del Mar offers you an opportunity to enjoy Isla Mujeres like never before. Each room has an amazing 180% view of the Caribbean.

The master suite has a king size bed, spacious private bathroom, smart TV and lots of closet space. The guest room on the lower level has a king size bed and a gorgeous view of the ocean with a sliding door out to the pool area. All rooms have ceiling fans’ separate mini-split air conditioners, comfortable new mattresses and blackout curtains for your perfect night’s sleep!
Come and relax on the ocean front veranda and enjoy the Caribbean breeze that makes this side of the island so popular. Castillo del Mar is a short cab ride to Centro with its many restaurants, stores and beaches, making it far enough from the noise and bustle of town yet close enough to enjoy all it has to offer. If you choose to rent golf carts we have ample off street parking. There are many small convenience stores, a pharmacy and wonderful restaurants within walking distance from our mid-island home. We provide all quality towels and bed linens as well as beach towels. Each of the upstairs suites have smart televisions, separate minisplit AC’s along with individual balconies providing a spectacular view of the Caribbean Ocean. For your security, each bedroom has a personal safe.
This magnificent home is designed for medium to larger groups of 4-12 guests. Guest rates are based on double occupancy and on the number of suites required. Unused suites will not be rented to any other guests not included in your party. Please see rental notes explaining pricing structure for different sized groups and additional suites.
We offer all concierge services with a most helpful house manager that lives just minutes away. Concierge includes but not limited to check in escort from ferry to Villa, pre-arrival grocery shopping, special occasion event planning, catering and private or group boat trips for fishing, snorkel, scuba and whale shark viewing.

We had an amazing time on Isla Mujeres with Castillo Del Mar as our home base. The property is perfectly located in the La Gloria neighborhood, offering a more local, authentic experience with great restaurants, activities, and beautiful views. The house itself was spacious, clean, and comfortably accommodated 2 families of 4. Bonus: every room has an incredible ocean view! All amenities were readily available, making our stay seamless and relaxing.Working with Melonye was an absolute pleasure- she was highly responsive and incredibly helpful throughout the process. Her recommendations for places to visit and things to do were spot-on, and it truly felt like she “knew someone” everywhere we wanted to go. We highly recommend experiencing a stay at this property. Starts with gracious hosts, who are eager to make sure your time is memorable!There is a lot to love about the house. It has an immediate authentic feel to it. There are killer views of the Caribbean from all bedrooms, but especially from the roof deck. Sunrise will knock your socks off, and you can smile in the knowledge that you are the first in all of Mexico to greet the sun.The location was just right for us, fairly quiet, but an easy walk/golf cart ride to amenities, including restaurants, bars, church, etc… We hope to return to Isla Mujeres someday soon, and would definitely love to stay at this house again.

This property was perfect for our group of adults celebrating 2 of our 50th birthdays. Each room has it's own bathroom and shower and its own ocean views. Super clean and the house manager and owner were amazing communicators and hosts. The only drawback for me was one of the king sized beds on the first floor had no topper or cushioning on the mattress and it was almost like sleeping on the floor it was so hard. That was the room I ended up with and with my old joints that just didn't work out great but I told the owner and i have faith she'll fix it for future guests.They connected us with a Concierge service that was great and one of our friends kept locking himself out of his room. Without complaint the house manager came right over to help. I would absolutely stay here again.

Property manager was fantastic. Very accommodating and communicated very well with needs and question with are group. We rented 4 suites. This place is perfect if you need separate suites and space for each group your with. Great location in the middle of the island . Kitchen was well stocked with everything you need. Very clean . Walking distance to serval restaurants if you don’t have a golf cart.

We spent a week in this amazing home! House was immaculate and well stocked with everything we needed. There were 9 adults, 1 child and 1 infant. Melonye and Callie were very helpful and quick to respond if we needed anything. The pool was a favorite hang out spot and the views here are beautiful Having the big bottles of water was so convenient and a nice touch! We will book here again in the future! Great place from which to explore the Island

Melonye handled everything for us from transportation to/from the Island, reserving the golf carts having the villa stocked with our requested groceries and many helpful recommendations during our stay. We had a wonderful stay for the week of Halloween! I can't say enough about Callie and Melonye. We had a couple mishaps and they were so easy to contact and help us when needed. Great place for a large group to stay and Callie is so knowledgeable about the island and where you should make sure you go to. Thank you for a wonderful week!!!

Castillo del Mar is on the ocean in a very desirable mid island location. The Villa is perched in a high spot with astounding views in every direction. We have a spacious veranda/patio area by the pool that runs the length of the house along with an awesome rooftop area. On the roof, there’s a huge palapa area for hanging out with a bird’s eye view in every direction.
The well-lit malecon walkway lends way to beautiful strolls as we are in easy walking distance to restaurants and bars such as Mango Café, Rosa Sirena’s Restaurant and Palapa Bar, Isla Village, Isla Brewing Company, Madera Food & Art and many more great spots. We are 5 minutes from multiple beach clubs down island or head 5 minutes north to hang on the beautiful Playa Norte or Playa Centro.

What makes this property unique

It’s a great place to gather with plenty of spaces to have quiet time all while being oceanfront in paradise! Hanging out in the pool is a guest favorite.
