We had a fabulous time at this house! The views were spectacular and the location was perfect. We came to meet up with my nephew to teach my 18 yr old to surf and the experience did not disappoint! Will definitely stay here again!
Great oceanfront property with large patio. Extremely close to the water where you can clearly hear the waves. Spacious indoor living area. And Michael (host) was very responsive and informative.
Booked a few nights to celebrate my birthday with family. Talk about a great location. Can’t beat being right on the water. Everything was very relaxing and enjoyable. Would definitely come back.
Overall the stay was great! The only struggle was the issue dealing with William at the front gate. Even when individuals were on the approved guest list, he would not let them through. The house and property management were awesome.
The private property is right on Capo Beach. The jacuzzi on the deck is feet from ocean waves. It's an older property but is perfectly suited for close family or friends with lots of space to entertain and soak up the sun. Michael's Team (property managers) were outstanding communicators and easy to get a hold of. Wish they ran all the VRBO's.
Perfect beach front property. Had the best family time and visits from friends. Didn’t feel the need to venture out because playing on the sand was enough. Would definitely visit again and recommend it. Think I would have gotten a better price had I reserved earlier. Only minor issues, no screens on some of the windows, sliding screen door hard to open. Low water pressure in the kitchen.

Place is old and tired
There were a lot of issues with the place. It’s just old and tired. Had an electrical issue that damaged several of the appliances and washer Property mgrs were a pain, argumentative and tried to say they were new issues when the hot tub person told us he heads the same issues from tenants all of the time.

Beautiful location but no real access to the beach from the house.
The beach has been wearing away on Beach Rd. and sadly what used to be just a step over the wall is now an 8 foot drop. There weren’t any stairs to go down so we attempted to use the neighbors but were quickly told that it’s private property. Other than that the house was pretty great but could use some updates to cabinets and appliances. We have stayed in this same house a few years ago and do enjoy it but wish we would have known about the lack of ease to get down to the beach.

Beautiful Location Poor Accommodations
We stayed at this beach house during Christmas week, and while the location and views were absolutely stunning—definitely deserving of a 5-star rating—the accommodations left much to be desired. To start, the positives: the location is breathtaking, with easy access to the beach and incredible ocean views. It truly is a picturesque setting for a holiday getaway. However, the living space itself felt more like a motel than a premium rental, which was disappointing given the nearly 2,000 per night price tag. Here are a few issues we encountered:Bedding and Towels: We were provided with only one washcloth and one towel per person, which felt insufficient for our length of stay. Additionally, there were no extra blankets available, leaving us to sleep in our warm clothes due to the chilly bedrooms.Bathroom Conditions: The bathrooms and showers had mold, which was quite off-putting. We expected a higher standard of cleanliness for the price we paid.Layout: The layout was inconvenient, requiring us to walk through each bedroom to access the main living space. This lack of privacy was a bit awkward, especially with a larger group.Temperature Control: The primary bedroom had venting issues and was consistently freezing. Hot Water: We found that we had to run the hot water for a long time before it actually got hot, which was quite frustrating. If you decide to rent here, be sure to bring extra towels, washcloths, laundry detergent (only 5 pods were provided), and blankets.
It was wonderful to hear the ocean and it was clean and had a very large gathering room with the kitchen, dining table, and living room all together. Only had a few issues problem. One was that the beach was covered in rocks. Unsure if it was caused by the recent storm or are always there. Two, the ocean is not safe to swim in there with kids due to high waves. But there was a good beach called baby beach that is perfect for kids close by. Three, the layout is very weird and you do have to walk through each other’s rooms, but we didn’t mind. Overall amazing! Loved hearing the waves at night!
The family room/kitchen area was bigger than expected. That was nice for family dinners and board games. The ocean was giving us lots of entertainment with big waves and lots of excitement. The manager was very quick to respond to our questions and respectful of our family time. We had a great experience despite the heatwave. The beds are comfortable and they supplied plenty of fans to keep us cool at night. Great location!! We got lucky with very sandy beaches this time! I hope we can come again.
We spent 2 weekends here this summer. We had Beautiful sunsets, private beach, and Dolphin sitings every day. We loved it. It was perfect for my elderly parents to enjoy the beach since it is no longer possible for them to walk on the sand. They loved being able to enjoy watching the kids play from the deck. The spa is a huge plus as well. Perfect staycation for this OC family.
Great beachfront location, with the waves right off the back patio. Private beachfront with only occasional neighbors walking along shore. Shoreline appears to be eroding with maybe 40-50 feet of sand at low tide up to sea wall at patio. House was clean, just a weird set up and a little dated with no hallway, so you have to walk thru the other bedrooms to get to the master. Common areas were adequate and BBQ worked fine on patio. Would stay again.
We have stayed on Beach Road every year for the past 15 years and once again had a wonderful vacation! We swam, surfed, paddle boarded, kayaked, sea glassed, and played lots of games. We saw dolphins from the back porch (as well as a sea lion.) The house is not luxurious but it’s perfect for a relaxing family beach vacation.
We enjoyed our stay. It was brief. Wish we would have had more time. Michael, the property manager, was always helpful and promptly responded to any issues or questions we had. The location of the house is great with stunning ocean views. The jacuzzi was great, especially now that it’s getting cooler. Our family had a wonderful time.
