The cabin sits on an acre and a half of wooded property on the desirable south side of Old Forge. Perfect for a family of 8 or a special retreat for a couple who wants plenty of space for themselves! The property features magnificent water views, 129' waterfront, a dock for tying up your boat, quiet area for swimming, kayaking, large porch, lawn for outdoor activities, fire pit to enjoy with friends and family!. Easy access to nearby snowmobile trails, 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, a great room with living room/dining area, electric fireplace, well equipped kitchen and spacious loft area with a full size futon bed. The cabin has rustic furnishings that provide a true Adirondack experience with all the modern conveniences.

Cozy cottage by the Lake

We had a great time at this adorable cottage. It was super clean and cozy and the view of the lake was beautiful. We loved the lights on the back porch over looking the lake. We highly recommend this place for a peaceful getaway!!

Wonderful extended weekend

Great weekend! Highlights were 2 days of cross-country skiing, watching the snowfall from the pier at the home, and being together in a beautiful home on First Lake Channel. We hope to return next year for another wonderful winter holiday.

Great place to stay

Warm and inviting, very clean and close to everything. We had a great time while we were there. The cottage is close just out of town so very convenient to go into town for dinner or shopping.

Magical Week

We came from California to enjoy fall in the Adirondacks, and we were not disappointed. Every day the beautiful cove on First Lake looked different, and we saw lots of wildlife, including deer that came by the house every morning, and a female mallard that came right up on the covered porch for a visit. The camp is close to Old Forge snd a great location near a lovely drive to the other lakes and towns along the Fulton Chain. Warm and cozy, the kitchen is modern for cooking meals if you want to stay in. We loved the fire pit and enjoyed s’mores more than once. We hope we can come back someday!
