We had a lovely time. The cabin had a beautiful view and every amenity we would need. We took our two pups and there was even a puppy park within walking distance. Great location and great communication.
Exactly as described. Awesome location, felt secluded but you could walk to town and restaurants. Loved having the kayaks available. Beautiful scenery, coffee and wine on the dock every day was so relaxing. Highly recommend, would definitely stay here again.
Beautiful property right on the river, Jason was beyond helpful answering all questions and concerns. We absolutely loved our stay and made our parents Old Forge lovers, already booked our trip for next fall at this location. Would also be a fabulous stay for anyone with children, absolutely kid friendly. Thank you for sharing this beautiful home with us and see you next year!!!
Enjoyed our stay in a family and pet friendly setting. Found the home clean and a host available, if needed (nothing was needed!) Grandkids loved the kayaks. If you like what you see in the photos, it's even better in person!
Very pleased with the property. Short walk to the grocery store and into the village. Very quick response from the host to our one ( minor ) issue. We would definitely stay here again.
The house was clean, the view and location were both lovely. The outside decking was in some slight disrepair but nothing that felt unsafe.I love that it is pet friendly so I didnt have to leave my fur babies behind!Jason is very responsive and easy to work with.
We had a very pleasant stay. Super peaceful and quiet. Deer out front every morning. Propane tank was empty and I notified the owner and he brought over a new one Within minutes. Would recommend
This home was perfect for the family. It is located on a quiet, dead end street. Four bedrooms and plenty of communal space. Our favorite part was the back deck leading out to Moose River for some great fishing. The kitchen had all essentials and the bathrooms were nicely updated. While there were some new renovations, it still had the old rustic charm we like. The property owner was responsive and friendly. Can’t wait to stay again.
The cottage worked really well for us - great location, clean, spacious. We really enjoyed the kayaks and easy walk to restaurants. Jason was very responsive!
Very convenient location quick walk into the village. The house was clean and well stocked and very beautiful with lovely art work. If you have a little one, everything you need is there (ours is one) so it's a lot less you have to pack. Our six year old nephew LOVED his room with the bunk beds, the kids books and toys. The owners are quick to respond and answer any questions you might have. We had a great time kayaking. Can't wait to stay here again.
We had an amazing stay! Jason was a great host and had the house fully (yes, fully!) stocked with everything we could have needed for a great stay. He provided just about everything necessary for our young children (high chair, outdoor & indoor toys, sleep safe equipment, etc!). The check in/out process was seamless, communication was often & effective and the house itself was beautiful. It is kept nice and could not be in a better location. Just a few minutes walk from the main strip while simultaneously secluded and quiet, right on the water. My husband and son got to feed a momma deer and her baby one evening which just eludes to the calmness of the area. We would love to stay again!
Absolutely amazing location, scenic views, comfortable beds, beautiful decor, and great communication with property manager. This will easily become one of my favorite places to stay in old Forge.
The location was great and convenient to the town of Old Forge. It was beautiful being on the river. The house layout and open concept was perfect. The only issue was the cleanliness that were weren't pleased with
Great location for family getaway. 8 adults a baby and 2 dogs.
Very comfortable with nice open layout.
Beautiful deck and location. Very relaxing.
Would definitely recommend!
This house was perfect for my young family and our friend’s young family! (4 adults, 2 toddlers, 1 infant, 1 dog). The location on the river was very unique. House was clean and easy to entertain in.
The location is perfect being close to the shops, restaurants, and water Safari and yet was private and peaceful along the river. The kids enjoyed the sand pit, the adults enjoyed the kayaks. WiFi was great and the kids could watch all their favorite cartoons. Beds were very comfortable! It was just like being in our own home!
