Nothing was wrong with the amenities; everything was clean and well equipped; it was supposed to be a 15-minute walk to the Old Mill. Unless you're a mountain climber there is no walking anywhere. No safe way to walk, no sidewalks. Description given was very misleading. Being within walking distance was the whole reason I chose the Brookstone Retreat. Very disappointed in that.Need steps for the hot tub, not easy or safe trying to climb in/out without them.

We enjoyed our stay and come to Pigeon Forge about three times a year. We normally have a usually place we stay but it was already taken so we tried something new. The place was nice, the beds were FIRM but we survived. Location was great a few minutes from the parkway. Fireplace was great Monday got down to 30s so it was cozy. No major issues just a few minor things that might make it better for others. The back deck could definitely use a roof. It would be nice to sit out there in the rockers, even if it’s raining. The hot tub definitely needs some maintenance as several of the jets didn’t work. Definitely need a place to hang some towels around the hot tub. It also would be nice if before we came, the deck would’ve been cleared with all the leaves. The piles of leaves that was on the back deck was not just simply from the time the cleaning people left and us showing up. I cleared a path to the hot tub the first night we was there, after wind and rain for a couple days. My path was still clear. Also steps into hot tub might be nice for short people.However the cabin was well stocked. I thought it was very nice to have some necessities that people might have forgotten, toothbrush toothpaste, body wash, razor. Checking in was a breeze no issues with any of that. We would rent again.

This was our first time to visit. We pick the perfect place to stay. Easy access to restaurants, shops, etc. but in a very quiet neighborhood. This home was so clean and cozy. Our hosts were very responsive to questions and so nice. We will definitely stay there again!

We decided to go on short notice & was not disappointed with the place, the bathrooms were very well stocked & lucky for me because I forgot my toothbrush. Very quiet neighborhood & less than 3 minutes from parkway, I bought my golf cart & rode everywhere I needed to go because of Rod Run traffic. The host was quick to respond with a few questions I had, we will definitely return to this property in the future. Only thing I would recommend would be room darking blinds/curtains because I like to sleep in but that’s just me. Thanks again

The house was conveniently located with the downtown area leas then a mile away. The house fit our needs and family perfectly. The neighbors we met during our 8 day stay were also cheerful and pleasant. The home was clean, bright and cheerful. The grill is hard-lined gas, which is great! We are already planning for next year. Thank you for a great stay!

Pigeon Forge easy access

Our cabin was very clean. The only complaint is that there was NO CLOSET in the upstairs bedroom and absolutely no place to hang our clothes. A coat rack would have been nice and evidently there was a closet at one time because there was a locked door in the room. Also the pots and pans in kitchen need updating.

The cabin was comfortable and for the most part quite - which was an essential need. Did, however, notice that some cleaning concerns were not addressed. It was a huge benefit to allow the family pet (i.e., kitten), but we did find out a number of areas were not clean or at least maintained by cleaning staff. For example, under the beds there were significant amounts of dust (the kitten looked like s dust ball after climbing under the beds - we cleaned the area) and also behind the refrigerator - a disaster area. In fact, I realized the refrigerator was running more than usual, so a quick look indicated the dust was well mounted in the area around the cooling fans which is an area that should be dust free to keep air moving to cool the unit. Other such areas were the same, like under the chairs, etc. A bit more house cleaning would help to keep these areas clean.

Cozy, Clean and Close to EVERYTHING!!

We had a fantastic stay at this cabin during our trip to Dollywood! It was perfect for our family of four—plenty of space, super clean, and so cozy. The view from the cabin was beautiful, and we really enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub, which was spotless and well-maintained. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the essentials, making it easy to cook meals during our stay. The owner was also incredibly responsive and answered all of my questions and concerns quickly, which made the whole experience even better. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would definitely come back again!

Location and amenities were perfect - very easy access to Dollywood and everything in Pigeon Forge area. Very quiet neighborhood despite being so close to the main strip. We loved the hot tub! Host was very quick and responsive when I had questions. The home could use a deep clean in bathrooms, windows, and fridge - all had some mold. I’d also recommend bringing a couple extra towels if you’d family likes to use a lot, as well as an extra roll or two of TP and paper towels just in case.

We live and work in Nashville, Tennessee but spend most weekends in our mountain home just down the road. We have tried to create a place where you could be comfortable, relax, and unwind. We hope that you will come to love and enjoy the beauty of the mountains as much as we do.

Why they chose this property

We bought this cabin in Pigeon Forge because of its uniqueness and the location. It is close to EVERYTHING. Brook Stone is perfect as a "just right for one or two or three couples" place in an area that feels remote yet is about a half mile from a Parkway filled with every imaginable thing to do. You can't be bored in Pigeon Forge Tennessee. The National Park, Dollywood, Gatlinburg, all that the area offers.

What makes this property unique

The cabin is a getaway providing luxury accommodations at a reasonable price. You will rest of pillow top mattresses, covered with soft down comforters, relax in the hot tub. There are a lot of lodging choices in the area...but you won't find one that has been more lovingly designed for your comfort. The property is ideal in its location being so close to the bustling Parkway yet it feels like you are removed from the hectic pace when all you want to do is sit in the hot tub or enjoy a glass of wine and chill. It is a 10 minute drive to The Great Smoky Mountain National Park and all that lay beyond there. One hour away, over the mountain will find you at a casino in Cherokee N. Carolina if you fancy that kind of thing. Whatever you want it's here. About 1.5 hrs north and east takes you to N. Carolina and Biltmore the opulent Vanderbilt estate.
