The smoke detector was beeping when we arrived. I contacted the owner who responded quickly but could not send anybody out to take care of the issue. We were able to get the beeping to stop. Upon our return later in the evening, the beeping had started up again.
The place was clean and there were plenty of bath linens. However, I would recommend a "welcome"/"check out" list on the fridge with pertinent information (contact info., wi-fi info, check info (should guests put dirty dishes in the dishwasher & start it, should guests put trash at the curb, etc.)
Property was nicely shown in pictures, but neighborhood was very sketchy. Backyard needed to be sprayed for bugs and the AC grill in the hallway floor was covered in mold. Needed to be completely cleaned. We saw very large cockroaches also in the kitchen at night. The master bathroom remodel was lovely, though. The front of the house needs new blinds as they were broken and open. We didn’t feel safe sitting in the family room at night as we thought people could be looking in on us. Towels were not thick and plush and it needed new pillows to sleep on. We had to go to Walmart. Check in lock wasn’t easy to operate either. We had to take an app on our phone. The AC was difficult to operate and it was hot. We couldn’t get the temperature below 80 degrees! I wouldn’t stay here again, but we had dogs and we needed a place for our pets. Not a good experience.
I absolutely loved the home. My daughter was graduating and we had family come in from out of town. We needed the extra space for them. Communication was great, check-in was great! The home was newly renovated and lovely. My only con was that they're weren't tvs in the other 2 bedrooms that had children it in. Other than that everything was great! I would definitely recommend staying here.
This house is in an old, established, mixed age and race neighborhood. The neighborhood was very quiet and people were friendly. The house is as described and we were comfortable there. The beds are all memory foam and we slept well. The host was very responsive. We would stay here again if we needed a home in Charlotte, NC.

Peaceful, easy access to highway, very clean and friendly host. Only down fall was they wanted to charge me extra $50 to check in early and due to cleaning but when we checked in the master bathroom was not clean at all. Hair in sink, floor not swept , shower mat dirty . Other then that it was cool
This house was very clean comfortable beds outside seating perfect for 3 couples age 70ish

Pros and Cons
Pros:
Close to downtown
Great mattresses
Open floor plan
Recently updated
Good AC
Big fenced yard
Plenty of parking
Automatic lock
Cons:
Bedroom doors stick
Back door VERY hard to lock- deadbolt doesn’t align
Smelled like weed
Not a great neighborhood
No soap in kitchen
All bed frames are metal and super squeaky/loud- they need WD40
This house was perfect for our trip. It cost less than booking 2 hotel rooms and no one had to sleep on a hotel cot or fold out couch. Also, it was a 12 minute ride to the Bank of America stadium. Cute house with a nice backyard patio area. Quiet neighborhood. All bedrooms have a queen size bed. The master bedroom has its own updated bathroom with shower. Though we only stayed overnight, there were plenty of food options nearby for meals. Host provided the code and WiFi password well in advance.
I had a good stay at this property; it was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. In-person was just as nice as in the photos. The neighborhood was quiet and friendly (but doesn't have sidewalks); there is a park within walking distance. The back yard is fully-fenced and spacious, and there were only three steps down from the patio to a paved ground-level section, and just a short distance from there to the grass, so it worked well for my older dog who has arthritis. Check-in and check-out were straightforward, and the owner responded to my pre-booking questions promptly. A+ would book again.

Beautiful home but neighborhood wasn’t invited homes wasn’t kept up around property
We stayed for a couple of nights to get out & explore the city. The house was just like the pictures and clean. Raj was quick to respond when needed and made sure our stay was great.
It was a nice place to stay for the weekend. We weren’t home most of the time but it got the job done. Only issue was that the floors were not clean. There was a stinky substance on the floor from walking in to the kitchen but nothing major to make say don’t book. I will book again in the future
My husband and 2 sons - all big 6'4" guys - pulled up to the home. The area is very sketchy, broken down cars, stray dogs! They got out to use the key pad and immediately were verbally harrassed by the neighbors across the street! There were a bunch of men hanging out on the porch who began threatening my husband and sons! My husband tried to use the keypad, which did not work. My husband and sons didn't want any trouble, so they decided to get in the car and leave the location. I immediately notified the owner and let him know about the experience. He refused to refund the trip or offer any help. He said he spent a lot of money on the investment and said he was offended. I told him my son and husbands felt unsafe and he did not return my message, he just kept my money! I notified VRBO and they said they would contact him but basically I should post a review and contact my credit card company, which I did. I have been using VRBO for years and years, we have NEVER had an experience like this EVER!!!! I was very surprised because it looks very nice from the pictures and believe me, my husband and sons are not picky. My son is a Marine - he was on leave for a nice weekend with his Dad and twin brother and he said these guys were looking for trouble!
Cute little house, that was renovated nicely on the inside! Clean and neat. My mom liked it, and she's not easily impressed! Great location, near many good restaurants, and interstates. Close to downtown Charlotte as well. Would definitely stay here again.
The house was very clean and easy to access with the code. Newly remodeled. Simple furnishings. Basic and minimal utensils etc. Nice back porch.
Raj was very responsive in answering our call about a tweeting fire alarm and difficulty latching the back door deadbolt. Temporarily solved the problem. Still needs attention to be fully fixed, though. Convenient to downtown.
The house is so cute, and clean. Came with essentials that we didn’t even know we had. Bathroom in master bedroom is amazing, which I could stay for more time. Definitely booking again in the future.
House was very updated with a cute patio in the backyard. Driveway was long enough to fit x2 cars and a SUV. Beds large enough to fit 2 people per bed. Master bathroom is huge! Very close to downtown Charlotte. Raj responded back very timely when needed. Enjoyed our stay!
