Irie by the Lake is a spacious, well-appointed 3 bedrooms 2 baths apartment with all modern amenities, located within walking distance of Vineyard Haven ferry terminal, main street Vineyard Haven, Lake Tashmoo, public tennis courts, walking and biking trails.

This is an incredible property with all the amenities to make your stay feel like home. Minutes away from Vineyard Haven Main Street shopping and dining. Oak Bluffs, Edgartown, beautiful beaches and golfing are all within a short drive.

This apartment has open concept and high vaulted ceilings, one bedroom with a king-sized bed and en suite bathroom with heated floor and rain shower, bedroom #2 has a queen bed and bedroom #3 has two twin beds, a sleeper ottoman in the living room can accommodate an additional guest and all bedrooms have a spacious closet. Second bathroom with rain shower and heated floor, Flat-screen Smart TVs, Wi-Fi, mobile devices charging station and laundry in the unit. Full chef's kitchen with granite countertop, contemporary appliances, coffee station, toaster, and everything you need to prepare you own meals. Relax outdoors on the back deck or enjoy the swing, hammock or fire pit, all while grilling. Spacious outdoor shower also in the back. Outdoor bistro allows for quite space to have your early morning coffee or tea.

This home is located within easy access to public transportation and easy to find by Uber, Lyft, and local taxi companies. Parking available if bringing your own car and it is advisable to reserve a space with The Steamship Authority as soon as possible (https://www.steamshipauthority.com/) as spaces on the ferry fill up quickly.

Note, peak period rentals (late May/early June through September) have a one-week minimum with Sunday turnovers. Sorry we can't accommodate other arrival or departure days.

The year round tenants in the ground floor accessory apartment is committed to respecting your privacy during your stay.

A Rental agreement must be signed. The agreement will be sent to you for a signature once the booking is accepted.

We had a great time on the Vineyard largely because of this beautiful home and great hosts. They were very helpful and communicated expectations clearly. They were responsive leading up to and during our stay. We hope to come back again.

The Best!

This was our second stay, and it was wonderful. We have stayed in many VRBO properties over the years, and Carol and Dexter's place wins first prize. Bedrooms, kitchen and bathrooms are all just first rate, as are the owners. We'll be back!

Perfect vacation house that has everything you'd need - space, amenities, and location. We loved walking into town, cooking in the kitchen and on the outdoor grill, making s'mores in the fire pit, and playing games at night around the big table with music streaming from the speaker system. And our kids *loved* the bullet ice maker!!

Lovely apartment in Vineyard Haven!

This was our first time on the island and we enjoyed having such a wonderful home base to explore from. The apartment was clean, with plenty of linens, a well appointed kitchen, and a fantastic backyard area! Our kids loved the hammock and swing and we made s’mores several times in the fire pit. The owners were responsive to all questions and we would absolutely stay here again!

Lovely convenient house highly recommended

Beautiful, newly remodeled house. We had several friends over for a Christmas Eve gathering and the house was perfect with the open kitchen, dining room, living room floor plan. The kitchen is definitely meant to be cooked in, it has everything you need and more. You can walk to the house from the ferry/downtown Vineyard Haven and also easily walk to Lake Tashmoo. Highly recommend this house

Just plain excellent!

We've rented more than a few places on the Vineyard, and this is by far the nicest. The photos don't lie: the house is beautifully done and maintained. It has an excellent kitchen, the beds are very comfortable, and the living area is open and spacious. The house itself is located on a quiet street, maybe three minutes from downtown Vineyard Haven. The A/C provided great relief from the heat. We'll be back.

The Perfect Getaway

Came to the Vineyard for a girl’s trip that was long overdue. Irie by the Lake simply exceeded our expectations! The home is spectacular. The pictures do not do the home justice. The outside offered many options to entertain and we took advantage of it. It was amazing to sit by the fire pit and see the stars at night. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return.

Summer Vacation

We had a great stay for our week at the Vineyard. The property was very nice and the outdoor spaces were perfect for families. Are 2 boys loved having a swing and a yard to play in. Would recommend to groups of all ages.

Great property. Very easy with a curious one year old. Close to town and made a 4.5 mile loop to run to west chop. Owner was very communicative and helpful.

I can’t say enough about this house it was expertly appointed everything that was needed was there…clean modern spacious comfortable prob one of the nicest homes I’ve ever rented. The kitchen was amazing everything you need to cook a nice meal all new appliances super clean great dishes pans knives all of it! I did however have a convo with the owner regarding the house sleeping 7 with the 7th being a pullout bed. It was comfortable and clean but there is not any privacy for this bed it’s really just an extra sleeping spot. If you’re sharing the cost of the house with others the pullout bed person should get a discount we did discount my brother-in-law 😌he got the short straw With that being my only complaint I’d still give it 5 stars!

Great place in Vineyard Haven

Took a chance with a new listing and wow did it pay off. Fantastic home with private yard in back. Caretakers were quiet and are on first floor in front by parking with separate entrance. So, in effect it felt like a place of our own. Yard was perfect and relaxing with firepit and adirondack chairs and a deck. Lots of attention with details. Very impressed with place. Owners were very responsive to our questions. We walked into Vineyard haven but drove to beaches all over the island. What a great week! Thank you!!

Magnificent!

Our stay at ‘Irie by the Lake’, was an unforgettable experience, that epitomizes excellence extraordinaire! The attention to details in each and every room was amazing. The house is spotless from the ceiling to the floor and the quality of the furniture and fixtures are second to none. The amenities from the well stocked Chef’s kitchen to wide range of television channel choices is superb. The owner/host were extremely helpful with providing valuable information regarding best spots to dine, shop and explore and went above and beyond to ensure that we would be comfortable, should we choose to stay in or go out The sad part- we had to leave, but definitely intend to return
