We thoroughly enjoyed our three night stay in this gorgeous, beautifully furnished, and immaculately maintained waterfront home. The views of Lake Michigan are outstanding and can be enjoyed from three vantage points: a truly generously sized deck, a landing with seating down the stairs, and of course the small but lovely beach along water's edge. The hosts have provided everything you may wish for or require during your visit. We were completely impressed and are grateful for such a wonderful experience.

Beautiful home with beautiful views and direct access to Lake Michigan. Perfect home for a multi-family vacation with plenty of room for everyone. Hosts were so kind and accommodating. Wonderful place to stay for a relaxing vacation!

This is our 2nd time visiting this beautiful property and it is amazing! The hosts have thought of everything with a fully stocked kitchen, plenty of linens, towels, and supplies. They are really quick to respond and accommodate what you may need as well. The home is incredible with room to spread out and yet so many great gathering spaces in dining areas and seating areas. Our favorite aspect of this home is the VIEW! There are windows/sliding doors across the entire back of the house facing Lake Michigan so even if the weather is not ideal, the view is breathtaking. The deck (that has a locking gate which is fabulous with little kids) is our favorite place to enjoy the sunset while the kids play. And the firepit is so amazing right on the bluff overlooking the lake and yet close enough to the house that baby monitors work. The stairs down the beach are close and the beach is private and beautiful. This is a perfect home for family reunions, extended family time, a trip with friends, or romantic getaway. 10/10 recommend!

We really enjoyed our week there! We loved the big deck with sun set views, the fire pit area, and the ability to gather 3 families and kids comfortably. Communication was good and the kitchen was well-equipped. We found a beautiful sandy beach (Magoon) just 5 mins up the road. The beach right in front of house has some rocks and wood, it was beautiful and fine for walking, but not the best for swimming and playing.

Our stay was wonderful. The view is truly incredible. There is ample sleeping and bathrooms for 2-3 families. We enjoyed time in the house, at the fire pit, both decks, and of course by the beach. We got lucky the first day the waves were calm and the shore was filled with rocks! My kids LOVED rock hunting for hours!! I was pleasantly surprised the steps to beach were not as intense as some of the other places we’ve stayed at along the Lake Michigan bluffs. Our only setback, later in our stay, was the combination of the waves and the dock pilings along the shoreline in this area made it unsafe for our kids to swim at the house so we did have to drive to the first street beach to swim. Other than that it was great!

Family vacation

Every year we head up to Manistee for a Fourth of July family vacation. This year we decided to stay farther out of town than normal. The place was wonderful and isolated and offered a completely different vibe than staying in or near the city.
