Host Cancelled our reservation in less than 24 hours.

Host texted late night the day before going there, saying that it had stormed and we wouldn’t be able to access the property because of a flood. Which i knew was a lie because i checked the weather constantly and it wasn’t storming in that area. I had to find a whole other place to stay last minute, and in fact it was in the same area that this property and there was no signs of flooding and didn’t rain at all that weekend. Almost ruined my anniversary weekend but thankfully i was able to find somewhere else to stay. PD: Only good thing i can say is that she gave me a full refund for the inconvenience.

Nice place

My wife and I spent several days at the Klein Hut in Hill Country before heading further out west to Big Bend. We enjoyed our stay here at Sonja’s place. The surroundings are beautiful.

Love this place: exactly what I needed for a memorable stay

Beautiful and isolated: no traffic to speak of. Awesome picture-taking opportunities of Bullhead Creek and bluff. Livestock help to give the ranch a relaxing, down-home ranch atmosphere. Great place to unwind. Love the ranch house I stayed in. The interior decor color-coordinated. Several interesting locally-authored books for relaxing reading material. Look forward to staying again.
