River's Bend Cabin sits on a bluff overlooking the Caddo River and the Ouachita Mountains. The views are amazing and the water is so close that you can hear the ripples as it makes its way down the river. The cabin has a dipping pool with a waterfall feature that is open from May through September. There are steps down to the river where there is good swimming or fishing. This place is one of a kind, an absolute gem!

Every about the experience was second to none. The owner is especially caring, thoughtful, and great with communication. The facility is immaculate, with all the amenities and then some. I can’t say enough, but let’s just say this cabin is highly recommended. There is no question we will be back, hopefully soon!

Great spring break getaway with teens

Perfect cabin for our spring break trip. I had three 13yo boys in the loft. The cabin had everything we needed, even salt and pepper! The boys liked having their own space and loved s'mores on the firepit each night. The view is beautiful and I would not hesitate to come back.

A precious gem with a glorious view! The only downfall was the master bedroom mattress. It has a huge dip in the middle and needs replacing. Other than that, this little home away from home will meet all of your needs! It was extremely clean and well-stocked with the basics. The video game was a bonus! Don’t bring extra blankets, the heater is amazing!!! The fire pit was perfect for s’mores after a long day of crystal mining. The sound of the flowing creek was pure serenity! We would absolutely come back to this cabin again!!!

Beautiful View/Relaxing

This is our second time to stay here. Very clean. Beautiful view of the Caddo River. We could relax on the porch all day long, looking at the river, hearing the water, and listening to the birds. At night, when the sky is clear, the stars are amazing. We could even hear an owl close by. I recommend staying here.

We have lived in this area most of our life and love its natural beauty. Rivers Bend has been rented by one of the Canoe outfitters for serveral years but it was time for us to start hosting ourself. We take great pride in making sure our property is well maintained and look forward sharing this little piece of heaven with all of you.

Why they chose this property

Rivers Bend is a short drive from Glenwood on a quiter part of the river. It's on a bluff overlooking the foothills of the Ouachita Mountains and the river is directly below, the sounds of the water rippling is very peacful. Rivers Bend has one of the most beautiful views on the river and is the only lodging on the river that has its own heated dipping pool with a waterfall. ( Open from May through September ).
