This is not a holiday but a journey through time. We wanted to highlight one of our local prides, "Les Parapluies de Cherbourg".
All the decoration has been thought around the film and the 50s/60s. We have searched for quality equipment in line with our theme to offer you a unique experience.
The accommodation
The flat is located on the 3rd floor of a building in the immediate vicinity of Cherbourg train station and the city centre. You are 800 metres from the Manufacture des Parapluies de Cherbourg, a place not to be missed when staying in our flat.
You enter directly into the bright and quiet living room. The kitchen is perfectly equipped: basic necessities, dishes, dishwasher, oven, microwave ... Everything has been thought of so that you only have to put your suitcases down. The bathroom has a bathtub, and we provide towels with shower gel and shampoo.
The bedroom has two single beds which can be converted into a double bed (180/200). The sofa in the living room is convertible for an adult (120/190). We will soon receive a second sofa which will allow us to accommodate 4 adults.
Additional information:
-We do not forget the children, and we can provide a cot and a high chair on request.
-Storage of bicycles or surfboards is possible.
-Dogs are welcome and we provide two dog bowls.
Do not hesitate to ask for what you need and we will do our best to meet your expectations.
We look forward to welcoming you!

Other remarks
Les Parapluies de Cherbourg will be your base for visiting Cherbourg and the Cotentin region:
-The Cité de la Mer in Cherbourg is a place not to be missed when visiting the Cotentin peninsula as well as Port Racine (16km), Omonville la Rogue (22km), the Ravalet castle in Tourlaville (5km) or the birthplace of Jean-François Millet.
-You will be staying about 50 km from the landing beaches (Utah beach) and 120 km from Caen.
-For sportsmen, the Pôle Nautique de la Hague, located in Urville Nacqueville (9km), offers a wide range of activities: sailing, paddle, longe côte, kitesurfing, towed buoys or even initiation courses for the little ones.
-For sea lovers, the Sciotot beach (23km) is a famous surfing spot, the dune massif of Biville offers a magnificent landscape and a playground for children. It is an idea for an unusual walk which will allow you to discover abandoned tanks from the 2nd World War. Don't forget the walks to the Nez de Jobourg: "The highest cliffs in Europe are, after the Mont-Saint-Michel, the most visited place in the Channel. This sensory experience is simply unforgettable" (france-randos com)
